Kekule_the_Magician on the inclusion of Devouring Light in a TurboFog Deck:

As a person who typically plays very creature oriented decks, I HATE when an opponent has Devouring Light. It is infuriating to finally get through with a creature on to have it exiled.
I've come to hate White in general now because it gets everything to the point where it is almost unfair. White has boardwipes (Wrath of God, End Hostilities), targeted exile and removal (Devouring Light, Banishing Light, Last Breath), lifegain spells, lifelink, low cost/high power enchantments and auras, flying creatures; my goodness what don't they get!?
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!

Reality Shift seems wrong... I mean, I dont like blue doing this kind of stuff.
Reality Shift will be the next in a long line of cards that people will fight over even though it is in fact very Blue. Happens every time.
Amen.

Wow Fierce invocation and formless nurturing are essentially the same card, in the same set. Talk about boring and lazy design. Also, it seems like development went way too crazy with manifest. Not every bloody common needs to mention it R&D!
It's fun how all the cards have been put together to showcase manifest
Arashin War Beast - hard to block it profitably, as it will give you a minimum of 2/2 when blocked. Since it's a creature, it also plays nice with other manifest effects. The trigger is worded very strangely: for all practical purposes it's similar to "becomes blocked" trigger, except that this way is better if Arashin War Beast itself is manifested.
Reality Shift - another blue "transformation" card in the vein of Polymorph or Curse of the Swine. Unlike Polymorph, though, you will usually want to use this as removal, not as a trick. Being instant speed really helps, as you can get rid of attacker or blocker. It's a nice counter to surprise manifest reveals as well.
Mastery of the Unseen - repeatable manifesting reminds me of Mobilization. The game plan is clearly to have mostly creatures, manifest them and then turn them face up for life.
Write into Being - 2/2 for 3, but since you're picking from the top 2 cards, you have better chance to get something you can turn face up later then if you'd just manifest a random card. The pseudo-scry effect also helps.
Fierce Invocation - 4/4 for 5 with slight upside of possible turning face up.
Formless Nurturing - the same thing as Fierce Invocation: 3/3 for 4 with a chance to turn it face up
Sultai Emissary - creatures with manifest are interesting as creatures are what you want to play in a manifest deck. When you get this normally, it's 1/1 that turns into 2/2 after it dies. When you get it as a manifest, you can chump-block, pay 1B to turn face up and have it replace itself.
Reality Shift looks pretty good actually! Rapid Hybridization was a real card, and this one exiles - albeit for a bit more mana. But a 2/2 is a lot easier to block than a 3/3 generally. On the other hand, it could backfire pretty bad against midrange decks. Hrm... tough to say if it's playable just because of how unreliable it might be.
Man, another white enchantment to trigger and give manifest targets to Skybind... AND can gain you life after all your durdling... Wizards is really tempting me to play that gimmicky deck in Standard!

So? Woolly Loxodon and Glacial Stalker were in the same set too. This isn't anything new, we just don't usually see these cards until we get the full spoilers. Every color needs basic creatures with the set's mechanic in draft.
My LGS Owner knows I am a big fan of spoilers!
So he texts me these pictures. No explanation no Nothing just "Well there you go" lol
SO! I had to share.
EDIT AND UPDATE:
These are spoilers from the Ugin's Fate Pack. For everyone who keeps asking
Phenyx posted this on Page 6 of the Fourm Post thought I would be to the Front for more viewing

Like it or not, Blue does Polymorph things once in a while.

Just more stuff to add for blue's ever expanding portion of the color pie.
Amen.
lol
It's always been a part of blue's color pie. See Polymorph.
it's pretty much Rapid Hybridization or Pongify all over again.
still, weird ability on blue.

This set is shaping up really well.
I love pseudo-removal that blue gets. It's always so creative and flavorful.
And this is totally playable at 1U and instant speed.

Write into Being was not something I expected to see, and it actually seems pretty good as a 2/2 + Sleight of Hand.
