It can be pumped, triggers raid, benefits from dragon-tribal. Not saying it's nuts, but there are differences. Also it can prevent milling in limited which is funny.

Not exactly. This sucker costs five mana, so in Limited, you're much less likely to be pumping it, or casting Raid cards post-combat when you've already cast it. I'll give you the Dragon tribal, though.
The mill bit is true, but how often is mill a legitimate concern in Limited?
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
It triggers "When a creature comes into play" effects. It can chump block, and yes, that can be a good thing in some scenarios. It gains +3/+3 from Crucible of Fire. You can re-draw it.
The fact that people are comparing this to Lave axe just prove how mediocre it really is. Obviously not good in constructed and not really playable in draft.

Your deck is a disaster. It has no plan, no focus, no clear strategy, and half the cards hate each other.
I am not sure I would play it in limited. Do you run one, to help close a game (like a Lightning Axe), or do you play multiple, and try to "burn" your opponent?
Sucks that if your opponent has a big Reach/flying creature, it is a completely dead draw.
When all I had read was 5-mana common dragon with flying, trample, and haste, my mind refused to accept that such a card could be possible. Now it makes a lot more sense because the card's actually not very good, and would have been just a little bit cooler with "Dash 4RR" printed on it. But their willingness to be flooding the set with dragons of all rarities and colors has me holding out hope that we'll get a couple more sweet ones (hopefully the RG legendary).
This has quite a lot more fun synergies than the Axe, though. Dragon shenanigans, Sundial of the Infinite, Fling & reanimate. This is a common -- cough cough! -- that might actually touch a few kitchen tables. It's fine.

personally, I would play this as my lightning axe if I am in red. That being said, there is already a better lightning axe card in limited in arrow storm so I wouldn't play this if there was an arrow storm in my pool.

EVERY common is a common that might actually touch a few kitchen tables.
I love it!! That's it -- I'm playing Big Red post-FRF.

As a 4x in a 60-card deck with some Chandra extra-card drawing, the drawback isn't too terrible.
It's a Lava Axe that can be blocked or Murderous Cut, but also occasionally be drawn again.

It's not.
Can clear flying blockers out of the way.

You're citing the fact that it can be chump blocked as upside?

Has trample.
Who says it is better?
But I think, in fact, it is better:
It triggers "When a creature comes into play" effects. It can chump block, and yes, that can be a good thing in some scenarios. It gains +3/+3 from Crucible of Fire. You can re-draw it.
It is not a bad card, not bad at all.

It is awfully similar to Lava Axe, and probably one of the biggest traps for newer players in limited.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
