Magic Brand Managers Brian Trunk and Liz Lamb-Ferro are back with Senior Trade Marketing Manager, Paul Hagan to help you create great Fate Reforged experiences in your store!
Can someone explain the Ugin's Fate boosters to me in-depth? I can't click that link because apparently it crashes my browser.
Summarizing:
Basically, the Ugin's Fate boosters are prize packs (not for use in the tourney). These prizes are earned by players finishing a certain (collective total) number of achievements in the Prerelease packs, and/or when the tourney ends.

Huh...so are the cards in them exclusive to the packs and not part of the normal set? Or are they alternate art versions of normal cards in the set? Sounds like this can potentially lead to some very expensive cards.
I think the description of the centerpiece activity gives away a hint about how Sarkhan may heal Ugin. Could the "Activate the Shard" phase mean that he uses the hedron on his staff? And I'm assuming the cocoon is what we're seeing in the Crucible of the Spirit Dragon art.
This of course does not preclude a non-retailer from 'sneaking into the back of the room'.
May or may not provide additional or new information on the PreRelease / Release events.

But what about this thread? http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/the-rumor-mill/583396-mastery-of-the-unseen-soul-summons-reality-shift
It says all of those cards came from the Ugin's Fate boosters.
