Flamewake Pheonix is nuts. Just what green/red midranges needed, giving both pressure putting them closer killing range earlier and giving a large amount of late game reach. Aggro also wants it. Makes Rhino ground superiority way easier to deal with.
Citadel siege is a solid card. Playable, but probably not optimal.
That blue removal is strong. This might be a format able to support it.
As we will havee just 2 sset a block , each set will be better ( as FRF is like a new set just getting a few mwchanics from KTK ) , it will be way better from now on obs: I realy liked the phoenix , and the clone
The thing about Supplant Form for me is Planeswalkers... If my opponent copies my Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker, they get a creature first turn and a Planeswalker from then on, right? Not cool I'd definitely have this at least in my sideboard, even in Standard.
I don't know, but if he enters as a creature, does he gets the counters ?
I think he does, but just the basic amount... here's what the Gatherer says about Clone:
7/1/2012: Clone copies exactly what was printed on the original creature and nothing more (unless that creature is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn't copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on.
So I guess it would enter the battlefield with the default amount of loyalty counters, but I might be wrong

Deep in a murmuring bosk, where the trees' memories span centuries, the simple banner of green and copper signifies an elder whose rings number more than a faerie's days.
The token copy of Sarkhan will enter with the 4 loyalty printed on the card, because only the printed loyalty is a copyable value.
Someone suggested above that the token would enter as a 4/4 Dragon with Indestructible - it will not. Being a 4/4 Dragon with Haste and Indestructible is not a copyable value of the card Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker.
Phoenix looks like a lot of fun. Fun synergy with Purphoros, God of the Forge, for starters. Feeling the itch to cobble together a big red deck together now.
Citadel Siege is going to be interesting. Maybe with U/W or Bant Sage of Hours builds? Seems pretty easy to chain multiple turns together or go infinite. Maybe not competitive, but it'll win some games.
Everyone saying Supplant form is overcosted is crazy. You can't just combine the cost of its effects. This card is actually quite good, and on the verge of standard playability. Think about it this way: If you use this to bounce an opponent's polukranos, you gained 2 mana worth of tempo. They will have to recast it, which will cost 4 mana, and you have your own, which would normally cost 4 mana. subtract supplant form's cost from this total of 8 mana, and you saved 2 mana. Anything that costs more is even better. An additional benifit is the instant speed. if you bounce that polukranos on their end step, you can attack with it instantly, and you get to untap and do additional things, including leaving counter mana up. Supplant Form is on the verge of standard playability, it's just a question of what deck wants it.
Phoenix is really solid. What's fun is that a G/R Birthing Pod deck can turn a Phoenix into a Vengevine, then immediately bring the Phoenix back. Rinse and repeat until all Vengevines are yanked from the library, add some protection from graveyard hosers, and you've got yourself a stew.
Supplant Form is an auto-add for my Lazav EDH deck built around Clone and Control Magic effects. You're only paying 1 extra for it costing one card less than Clone + Unsummon, and it's still an instant, so you can sit on 6 untapped and bluff Spelljack/Desertion, then Supplant Form when they don't call your bluff. It's beautiful.
Citadel Siege is going to be a house in Limited. Anything else, I doubt it. Neither effect is quite big enough to be worth the card investment for my tastes.
Supplant Form is pretty cool-
I would like for it to cost less, but I don't feel it's overcosted.
It's also pretty flexible- you can hit their thing EoT, attack with it your turn,
then block with it and kill theirs later.
You could also just use it on your own Hornet Queen

It seems that red deck wins will be a great standard contender. I really liked this new set I gotta have 4 of the new Chandra´s Phoenix, Mardu Scout, and Flamerush Riders for my Red Devotion deck.

Shadowspear is strong. Pulse tracker with upside.
Very good spoilers today.
