msun: Knives scoop ice cream.
Highroller: No they don't, knives don't scoop. Spoons scoop.
msun: Well, knives SHOULD scoop icecream.
Highroller: We have spoons that do it. Moreover, the shape of a knife that would scoop ice cream would make it horrible for performing the functions of a knife.
msun: Highroller, you bring up spoons as though they were the utensil used for scooping ice cream.
I like how Maro says exile isn't Graveyard 2.0, U in its usual U way says "**** the po-lice!" and Maro just agrees with U.
@skorchdnite: Well, it added a Food Chain combo. Though Food Chain always has Prossh in EDH, and is nowhere near the top of my Legacy *****list. This...avoids that, thankfully.
But it's not about brokenness. It's about how we now have five cards that turn exile into Graveyard 2.0. Exile is losing its mechanical identity. (Granted, exile's mechanical identity has always been tenuous. Yes, there was Swords to Plowshares, but then Oubliette.)
That makes as much sense as making creatures with both Defender and Flying (instead of Defender and Reach). Which they've done... so... meh.
Yes, because monastery flock would make so much flavor sense with reach. If the two are functionally identical why does it matter what they do?
Interestingly, the flying/reach question does occasionally have relevance. Some creatures like Silhana Ledgewalker and anything enchanted with Treetop Bracers "can't be blocked except by creatures with flying", while Bower Passage says creatures with flying can't block. Making it sometimes relevant. More so, anyway, than a bunch of Plummets, the other time it's allegedly relevant.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I feel like a large number of the people are severely underrating this cards potential in standard. Specifically Sidisi Whip, which can often have problems forcing it's zombie horde through. Not only does this card synergise with Whip and Delve, but it's excelleny with sidisi. I definitely am going to give it a shot.
Sounds good to me.
MaRo's fine with it.
