I thought it was absolutely horrible when I 1st saw it, but I'm not so sure now. g/w certainly needed more playables. He's probably not better than something like stormbreath, wingmate (which he'll always be compared to), or sarkhan, but as a 1 or 2-of he could be a nice card to have.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
This is a big fat dumb creature. Not saying it's bad, I'm saying most big fat dumb non-hasty flying creatures are bad. This is why something like Indulgent Tormentor isn't playable.
He is even drawn to look fat. Fat and slow ready to eat some sorcery speed removal.
To be fair Indulgent Tormentor isn't very playable because it's a five drop that will almost always be in burn range. This doesn't die to most red removal at least.
I hope that the U/B Dragon has delve and for each creature removed using delve place a 2/2 zombie token on the field. And i hope he's a zombie dragon.Zombie Dragons are cool
The more and more i think about it, the more i'm starting to love Naya dragons with generator servant, classic green ramp, stormbreaths, the G/W and G/R dragon, some planeswalkers to fit the slots (Ajani mentor to fix card advantage, etc)
yay for dragons!
Holy crap, I forgot about Generator Servant. Yeah, Naya dragons could be a thing. This thing would be swinging for 7 in the air on turn 3 with Generator Servant's help and no other mana dorks present. If you played first, the opponent very likely doesn't even have enough mana for a Hero's Downfall (Valorous Stance, perhaps, but it remains to be seen how widely played that will be).

I like where this is going! I really am unimpressed by Valorous Stance though. I am not sure why people think it is a standard playable card. Its great in limited, but in standard, there arent many decks running the wrath we have atm, its a sideboard card if its there at all most times. The Indestructibility just seems like a waste of a slot to me.
As an Abzan player, it doesn't surprise me to see that the dragons of the "Abzan" brood are bulky behemoths in their own right, though I was hoping for something a little less so. XP
I suppose this means we'll be getting a few smaller dragons in each brood, which is awesome!
She's part of a five-card legendary Dragon rare cycle in the ally colors (WU, UB, BR, RG, GW). Each of them has an attack trigger ability that happens whenever a Dragon you control attacks. They trigger themselves, but they also trigger multiple times with multiple attacking Dragons.
There was a statement about each brood having their own unique watermarks but can't find that currently.

The indestrucable mode of Valourous Stance is a narrow effect but the times when it comes up it will be huge. The more common mode will be the pillar of light mode which hits something in most decks
I was kind of hoping for this cycle each to have two abilities, but I guess Kolaghan's just special. Still, building around this can get pretty abusable. I've got high hopes for Mr. Temur dragon.
They... they made a GW card that rewards you for having creatures of a type that is virtually non-existant in those colors? I guess it's actually quite good if it only triggers itself, but it still feels a bit off. Oh and the art is badass.
The real question is going to be what we get in terms of low cost dragons. Right now the only ones that exist at 3 mana or less (aside from changelings) are slumbering dragon, and dragon hatchling, and dragon egg.

Not a dragon, but Dragonmaster Outcast makes some once you hit the magic 5 land number.

Shoot, i was hopping for a U/G Manifest/Morph Dragon to use as a commander. I guess ill have to wait till next set.....hopefully
Attack, use the entity and BAM bolster 2 for each of your attacking creatures and they get insane big aswell.

As for spoilers, we might not get any on Thursday. We should get some today and Friday for sure.

Mirror Entity and Shields of Velis Vel are in her colors, so go nuts.

Makes sense if they're the mothers of the brood lineages that they're all female.
