Stoneforge Mystic on my list was more of a personal choice in hopes that I could afford a copy for my Kemba, Kha Regent deck in Tiny Leaders.

Fair enough. I too would like a reprint so I can afford some as well. I want to try to join my LGS' legacy scene. They let you proxy some, but the landbase covers most of the number. Legacy Masters, go! Or just unban in modern. You know... whatever works wizards.
Perhaps although I'd like to see Genesis Wave get reprinted given it's popularity in Mono Green Nykthos.

glittering wish would be fine. I wouldn't mind refilling the playset that I sold off when it was at peak popularity.
It is also one of those cards that just gets better as time goes on. Eventually something else will get printed that will make the Wish spike again.
EDIT: had a thought. If Metalcraft/affinity is a thing in MM2, do we think they will reprint Hurkyl's Recall?
Hurkyl's *needs* a reprint badly for MTGO, which will be at least a minor factor in MM2 decisions. At one point it was the 3rd or 4th most expensive card in Modern on MTGO.
In paper a reprint isn't needed as there's enough 4e and 10e ones around to meet demand, but more foil ones would be desireable to many.
I am certain that it has been mentioned already, but damnation is now extremely expensive as a single and WotC also missed the grand chance of including it in From the Vault: Annihilation, where it would have been a perfect fit, so I believe that this set is the perfect place to reprint it.

I concur, it would have been a perfect fit however they seemed to have decided to not reprint the same card twice in the FTV: A deciding it would be too redundant as they already had Wrath of God. They could also have printed a second Armageddon with Ravages of War which is also in dire need of a reprint as it currently sits at $500 per copy just because of its scarcity at the moment.
I wonder if there going to tread the same ground again with the mythics. Tarmogoyf here, Bob there, a few different mythics here and there compared to last time.
As I do find it interesting that the face of MM2 is not a big spender card like Tarmogoyf but a $2 rare known as Etched Champion.
To follow my comment about glorious anthem, earlier in this thread: since spear of Heliod is completely superior to it, is it possible that, if the anthem were to be reprinted, either in this set or perhaps in the final core set, it may be downgraded in rarity to an uncommon? Or is the card too powerful for such a low rarity?

I really dislike it when players consider being legendary to be a drawback for a card, since the legendary supertype specifically exists to balance the mechanical power of cards that have it.

What specific players may like or dislike isn't really relevant when a large point of the set is to increase the number of cards available to Modern players. Mindscensor is a $10+ uncommon and it is commonly played in Modern. It is one of the few cards that should absolutely be reprinted.
Also, of course being legendary is a drawback. It is designed as a drawback. It's purpose is to be a drawback from a power level standpoint.

Yes, I do agree that, if the card is very expensive, it should be reprinted; I only hope that I never have to go against it, since its ability is ridiculously powerful for a card that costs 3 mana; in my mind, such a restrictive effect as that should not cost any less than 5 mana, and it should allow searching of the top five or six cards, as four is simply too few.
I like using legendary creatures because they represent specific characters in the storyline, characters who are extremely powerful, have achieved great and wondrous deeds, or both. I do not care if being legendary is a drawback from a mechanical standpoint, I always ensure that every one of my decks has at least one legendary creature.
I cannot recall if they have been mentioned yet, but the "filter lands" from Shadowmoor and Eventide are quite expensive, now, so I believe that they definitely need to be reprinted. Does anyone else here hope for that?

This is actually one of the things I was hoping for even before they announced MM2015. Now, I am hoping for some other cards as well, but the filterlands are the top of my list for a land cycle in Modern Masters.

I am going to agree with this. It should either be filter lands or, if we didn't get them right before in Dragons, we could easily see Zendikar fetches. I wouldn't mind seeing the enemy manlands either, Celestial Colonnade and friends could definitely use a reprint.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's no rare duals in MM. A set of Shard trilands will suffice for limited play. Filter lands and fetches can sell a set on their own, and have no place in MM. Doing so makes no financial sense and price wise might not drop as much for consumers.
Ditto for Damnation. It didn't make sense in an FTV. What most truly want is increased availability.
As for Mindcensor, I'm still holding out that DtK will have it. And obviously those cash grabbers at WotC will make it rare.
I still believe Damnation was what Gavin Verhey was talking about when he made this comment around the release of FTV:Anihilation
Something important to keep in mind: If something is missing from one of these, there's a good reason. It's not that we just completely miss obvious things, but that we have the entire picture of Magic's future to work with and know where something is going to fit better. If you really want something to appear again, stay patient. If it's something that's realistically reprintable, there's a good chance you can expect to see it eventually.

I'd eat my hat, too, if he wasn't referring to Damnation: that was the obvious missing piece from last year's FtV... which made it the worst FtV of the history of the product, by the way. We can be quite safe that Damnation will be in MM2, I really see no reason to push it out of the set.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Damnation and Noble Hierarch aren't in this set, I will, upon request, post a video of myself eating a basic land.
I'm also confident about Aven Mindcensor, but I feel that it has a decent better chance of being reprinted in a Standard set, maybe in the Fall set to punish fetches or Chord.

Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
Then the analogous card should probably be Emrakul, the first card we saw in full. Etched Champion, like City of Brass last time, is only known by its art.
Aven Mindcensor is a distinct possibility in MM15 if they make Bird tribal the WU theme this time around, which would leave UR as the most likely Metalcraft pair. We could also see cards like Dovescape, Pride of the Clouds, and Emeria Angel to help support the theme.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Even if I have my set, I really hate that frame, so I'm also hoping for a reprint BUT seeing as we have a setting (Tarkir) full of Avens and fetches in the format I believe there is hope to have it reprinted in Dragons of Tarkir. And it could also be bumped in rarity to rare as it seems a bit too strong for uncommon (see Hushwing Gryff for reference)
I've said it before and I'll say it again: If Damnation and Noble Hierarch aren't in this set, I will, upon request, post a video of myself eating a basic land.
I want to up the ante here, if they're not in MMA2 I will, upon request, post a video of myself eating a **FOIL** basic land :>
