Funny it is lower. The store I plan to spend some of my time at is getting close to 200 boxes. They are obviously getting much of their product outside of the normal allotment, but at 200 boxes for them and there being 3 other stores in the area, I expect this product will be easy to find for a foreseeable future.
Frankly, I think their numbers are absolute garbage. 200 boxes is 50 cases. Everybody else I've seen and talked to is saying 12 cases max, and you expect me to believe that one store is going to get 50? All the evidence points towards them being full of it.
Only Star City Games and Channel Fireball will have that kind of product. Your store most certainly won't.

That's way too high, dozens available under $250 shipped on eBay now.
While that maybe the case on eBay, I'd rather pay a little more from a source that is known to deliver (SCG/CF/CSI/MM) rather than from sellers like "fuzzylumpkin" who deals in Yugioh singles, but now has access to 40+ boxes MM2015...I dunno that just seems...off to me.
So many Pre-Orders from MM1 went unfulfilled, it was quite the fiasco...
This set is going to be harder than MM1 to get your hands on, and more expensive to boot. I preordered boxes of MM1 for $185/box, and the other store I talked to back then was charging an even $200. Both stores have told me their allotment of MM2 is less than their allotment of MM1 was. The GP in Vegas is consuming a HUGE portion of the first print run of the set. The pre-order prices around here are in the $250/box range.
To be fair people didn't know what was in the first modern masters set except for Tarmogoyf so people could pick up boxes for cheaper than what they would go for. From seeing the success of the first modern masters set, stores are charging more because they expect the same level of high value reprints.
Also remember that msrp for MM2 is $9.99 /pack while msrp for MM1 was 6.99 /pack. Both times there has been a good deal of uncertainty about supply and differing accounts from stores. I preordered a box of MM1 online for around $180 or so early on. Once the prices started rising from there I don't ever recall them falling. This time early prices were around $280 to $300 and have now steadily fallen to now $245 for an MM2 box. There have also been multiple sellers on ebay with 20 or even 40 boxes of MM2 for sale, and I don't ever remember that being the case with MM1..

I'd advise only purchasing from stores, but what's the harm in buying from an individual? Hedge your bets, place a bunch of preorders, and then return and/or cancel whatever product you don't want. Easy enough.
I think people are going to realize just how overblown the hype for this release is going to be, and it may very well cause prices to drop and actually stay dropped due to the greater supply. 4x the original print run of MM1 in three different languages, with a safe bet for a MM2017 in a few years with even more reprints, will likely go a long way in reducing outrageous prices on many cards in Modern. I'm certainly not pre-ordering 24 booster packs for over $240 for the chance to break even or (much more likely) lose money overall. I'll let others play the Goyf lottery.

You're assuming you're looking at 4x the print run. Here's a link posted by zaxx99 that states 12 cases per store. All it says is more may be available from your distributor based on supply. So until there are solid numbers out, please stop saying 4x the print run when you're really just pulling that out of your rear end. My local guy is a top-tier store, he got 12 cases of MM1, and thinks he'll probably get 12 cases of MM15. That points towards a virtually similar print run for the secondary market, and probably a higher run for the GP's.
I'm guessing MM15 will come in at 1.5-1.75x the print run of MM1.
You're right, I couldn't find anything to confirm the early reports of 4x the print run, but I would like to think that your estimate of 1.5-1.75x is too low. If there are more cases to be had based on supply, then I hope that's a clever strategy to avoid giving out numbers while printing more product. Regardless, I still wouldn't be paying pre-order prices, but that's just me.

I've bought 24 boxes for 175eur (I think 190 dollar aprox each)and the LGS still have about 35eur profit per box. I've found plenty of stores offering me 6+ sealed boxes for 200$ or less each shipped. Don't really know why they're so expensive in other countries (I'm from Spain btw).

Which means that directly from Wizards he is getting 12 more boxes. This doesn't even factor how many he can get from distributors. The store I go to just sells magic cards and isn't even a core store. He got 1 case (3 boxes) last time and is expecting 3 cases (12 boxes) from his distributor this time.
Since it albeing printed in 3 languages, your estimate of 1.75x total would likely be much lower than 1x in English alone and we already know that stores are getting more than that.
As I showed in math earlier the GPs alone are much higher than 4x the number of boxes than in 2013. I highly doubt the GPs are taking from any store allotments.
I don't care about cards that aren't in English, and I think others share my sentiment. What's the point of having cards I can't even read?
Thanks for the info RE what he's expecting from his distributor. If we say distributors are getting 3x the product they got of MM1, if anybody knows how much the biggest stores were able to get from distributors last time around, that would be handy in getting a rough estimate as to how much should be available. Granted, small sample sizes, but yeah.
Those of you in other countries getting cheap product can get it so cheap because there is less demand locally and less demand for non-english product, that simple.

They're not really that expensive, Spain apparently just happens to be the Eldorado for magic players. Always the cheapest on singles, boxes and everything else mtg related. Just look at the first batch of sellers who offer boxes of this on magiccardmarket europe.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Well channel fireball is drafting it the May 23-25. Spoiler are complete a week ahead of time and last 2 weeks. So spoilers will start May 4th and run through May 15th.
Lets assume that all 3 GPs have max attendance (18000 people)
That means that there will be 4500 boxes opened on just day 1. At draft we can assume approximately 1500 with enough points to move on which means 4688 boxes opened.
There are 29 Sealed events with 400 players which means another 2900 boxes opened. There will also be on demand drafts all day on Thursday and Friday where I think we can assume another 100 drafts of 32 players a day drafting which means another 800 boxes. Please Note the daily events was for Vegas only.
I calculate about 8400 boxes opened (not including side events at Japan and Utrecht). The GPs alone will put 2800 1680 non-Foil goyfs on the market. Add that this GP event will be expected to be 4 times larger than 2013 and the word that stores are getting about 4x more product than 2013 we can expect to see a lot of new goyfs.
Thankfully the art is the same so there should be less "collecting."
Just added the Chiba events which adds another 480 boxes or 96 non-foil goyfs or 24 playsets. Based on information from Utrecht, it looks pretty close to Chiba fr side events so expect another 100 non-foil goys and 24 playsets. Both will also be doing on demand drafts of Modern Masters and if we assume half as many as Vegas that means another 800 boxes or another 160 goyfs or 40 playsets.
We'll have nearly 1900 goyfs from events alone from the GPs and that doesn't even include prize support.
I calculate about 3648 packs given as prize support throughout the weekend at Chiba or 152 boxes or 30 more goyfs.
Utrecht hasn't listed prize support yet.
GP Vegas has a prize wall and common event prizes range from 10-720 tickets. I am going to assume that 150 tickets will be given away on average per person (which may be slightly high or low). There are 28 200 person events (standard, modern, legacy, vintage) and 12 400 person events (Sat and Sun MM2 sealed) and 1 1600 and 1 1000 event on Sat or Sun. There are 12 events of 400 people with ticket structure of 10-400 tickets.
That equates to nearly 2.2 million tickets given away. Modern Masters 2015 will cost 30 tickets which would equal 73000 packs, but lets say they only cover 10% of tickets being used for MM2 which means 300 boxes or 60 goyfs.
Without Utrecht's prize support there will be an estimated 2000 goyfs on the market just from the GPs.
As a side note that also means 2000 Karn and 2000 Emrakul on the market. Due to Karn being from a good selling set already I would expect him to drop pretty well initially.
I don't care about cards that aren't in English, and I think others share my sentiment. What's the point of having cards I can't even read?
For real?
Those cards aren't for you, they are for people who don't speak English!
(and for people who collect foreign language cards for whatever reason)
And I know what Riptide Laboratory does even when it's called "Laboratoire du projet Jusant".
My foreign cards are really only an issue when playing against someone who doesn't know what the card does in any language.

My store has started getting additional allocation numbers from distributors and it looks like we'll be getting a bit more than what we did with Modern Masters 1. We are getting a very good supply and are pre-selling all of our boxes at MSRP (holding back around 60 boxes for drafting and sealed events), and I don't think it'll be too hard to find them for that amount up to the release date. However, it doesn't look like Wizards will keep printing this product, and there may be a small wave 2 but that's it.
I would highly recommend buying your box(es) early though, as MM2015 will likely follow it's predecessor's path of shooting up in value over the following months.
The main problem whit MM its prices wont drop, Modern will still be expensive, forget about reprints and buy cards ASAP to get a good modern pool, thats that
I will buy Splinter twin, Serum Visions and affinity things NOW not when MM2 comes out because all things will gona raise a lot, MM2 its a limited print run but there is a lot of people expecting to buy like crazys, dont be fools, buy TODAY modern will become a legacy 2.0 in prices in the future, today cards are still cheap

80 eur + VAT? % of VAT? The box cost about 140, it's near impossible to see under that because they will loose money haha
