The OP is not only an admin of that group, he's also a collector of misprints and other error cards. He's well enough known in the Facebook community; I would take this at face value from him & expect that at least part of the print run will actually have misprinted Ulamogs with the wrong mana cost.
Yes, I know he collects misprints and stuff, I actually saw his post in the misprint and other oddities facebook group. Is this going to get added to the spoiler?
Okay since it says Mark Zug did the art for the pack, I decided to compile the list of all of the cards he did that could be in Modern Masters and would be "face of the set" cards. Basically I took rares or mythics.
We also have to take into account that he may have done new art for a card which may be even more likely the case than one of these on the face.
Indeed, the packaging for MM1 all featured new artwork, and it makes sense that they would continue that.
Given that, I'm going to hope they've granted one of my most obscure wishes,
and we're getting Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of War and Peace, and/or Sword of Body and Mind
with new art by Mark Zug to mirror the original two swords.

That would be amazing. I much prefer his art on the Swords and bought those instead of the MMA ones when I picked them up months ago.
Agreed and agreed. Remand, splinter twin and Linvala are disgustingly pricey as well. I think mox opal is pretty much a given after seeing etched champion. It would be unreal as to not reprint it when you got metalcraft in your set already.
Filterlands however, I could totally see in a standard legal set. There's no neccessity to reprint them in such a scarce product like mm.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Remand and Inquisition has already reprinted in Dual decks and Modern event deck so they dont get reprinted again, they are uncommon like rare cards

Look how many times they've reprinted Path to Exile- and I wouldn't be surprised to see it here again in MM2. Inquisition of Kozilek and Remand could both use another printing, to give cheaper foil options if nothing else
(though they're still both expensive Uncommons that help move packs).

putting one copy of remand in a casual product isn't really enough supply for the growing modern playerbase. That's like saying Noble hierarch was already reprinted as a judge promo and people just have to suck it up. Utility spells and manadorks shouldn't have such a price-tag.

there's just no way Zen fetches are in this, that would be too insane, even for wotc. I mean let's look at the price of khans fetches, and that set is the most opened in mtg history (again). If they're in, it would make the msrp for mm15 look like a bargain. They gave us shocks in a standard legal set, and now the allied fetches, wouldn't it make far more sense that zen fetches are in DTK instead?
But if it turns out that they are in mm... oh boy, count me out of this format forever. Better rename it legacy 2.0 as well.
The filter lands hadn't even occured to me. I think that they will occupy the slots they want being taken up by rare lands, as well as being another big seller, due to their usefulness.
Seems to me that cardboard packaging would lead to scuffed cards.
Yea I think that's my biggest concern... At least with the sealed flow wrapping, the foil wouldn't warp. I could see air seeping in and warp the foil in humid conditions.
People are gonna carry loose packs also, and when there's accidental movement/shaking, there's gonna be scuffing for sure.
I'm thinking of building Ad Naseum in modern, is it worth waiting for MM2? Notable cards in the deck would be Pact of Negation, Slaughter Pact, Simian Spirit Guide, Lotus Bloom, Ad Nauseum (derrr) and Angel's Grace. Does anyone see these getting reprinted in the set?

All this have been reprinted, so only simian and ad nauseum can be reprinted again, the rest no, buy cards because dont go down in price in short time and this 2 are cheap

Why do you think that just because a card was already reprinted precludes it from being reprinted again?
You know, other than stupid expensive commons becoming cheap again (Serum Visions, the biggest offender), all I really want is The Rack.
Print as many cards that are Modern-legal but don't have a non-foil/russian BB Modern frame version avaliable and I'll buy this ***** even if there's no lottery rares.
Enduring Renewal, Resurrection, Lord of Atlantis, Psionic Blast, Stormscape Familiar, Darkness, Dauthi Slayer, Faceless Butcher, Funeral Charm, Soul Collector, Stupor, Avalanche Riders, Disintegrate, Pandemonium, Avoid Fate, Gaea's Blessing, Jolrael Empress of Beasts, Merieke Ri Berit, Mystic Enforcer, Mystic Snake, Nicol Bolas, The Rack, Arena, Gemstone Mine, Pendelhaven, Aven Mindcensor, Bitter Ordeal, Daybreak Coronet, Dryad Arbor, Ghostfire, Grove of the Burnwillows, Horizon Canopy, Virulent Sliver, Ambition's Cost, Blackmail, Bribery, Choke, Early Harvest, Ensnaring Bridge, Jester's Cap, Merchant Scroll, Mindslicer, Sacred Ground, Summer Bloom, Urzatron, Weathered Wayfarer, Zur's Weirding...
Even if they can't or don't want to make the whole edition staples and value, they can still make it collectable as **** with less than half of this list.

Not sure if they will reprint cards from the first MM. Though considering the 4 cards are rare, I would doubt they take up a lot of rare slots with the same cards again.
Filterlands however, I could totally see in a standard legal set. There's no neccessity to reprint them in such a scarce product like mm.
MM2 also needs Grove of the Burnwillows and Horizon Canopy. They've shown that they like to do cycles even when the other parts of the cycle suck, so I'd expect the Future Sight dual cycle to make an appearance. It was all friendly-colored, so that leaves a perfect void to do a cycle of foe-colored lands (enemy fetches).

Here are the little self-imposed guidelines I'm working with for the multiplayer decks I've been building:
• Must be cheap. Total price tag < $100, preferably < $50. Ideally ~$30. No one card greater than about ~$6
• Format: Modern (makes getting the cards somewhat easier for the play group, and almost all my cards are Modern-legal)
• Must be relatively interesting in 1:1 games. I don't need to win against Splinter Twin, but I should be able to play duels now and then
• Avoid instant-win combos; they only serve to make me target #1, and then the deck is worse than useless because I get killed first, every time
• Must have a funny name!
If enemy fetchlands are in MM15 I believe a lot of people will be pissed.
Sincerely this product doesn't even add a raindrop to the ocean of modern players' needs, the worst thing you can print in such a set is necessary mana fixing.
On top of that a $10 price tag per booster doesn't allow for nealy any sort of price mitigation, might as well buy the ZEN ones now because MM15 would make them more expensive and newly captured demand brutally outweights the meager new supply.

M12 was after New Phyrexia, so no. The "Mirrodin through to New Phyrexia" wording makes me think there won't be any cards from 8th Edition either.
