Not bad at all. I was planing on Making a "Super Friends" deck & now I can create a side board of off-color PW's for this bad boy.
I just feel like Ugin is being pushed too hard w/ a Karn, Liberated-like ultimate that is high-in-the-clouds. How does his ultimate fit his personality anyways?

Theoretically the ult makes sense. Ugin was part of a group of walkers to seal the Eldrazi. It is reasonable to assume he gathers up his Walker bros to help. After all they are seemingly making him the Xaviar to Bolas' Magneto.
Now we just need to wait for the "House of B" block.
In addition, I think that WotC would put reminder text that a face-down permanent is always a 2/2 creature. Yes, it's an ability on a Mythic-Rarity card in a regular expansion, but I just feel that the face-down rule is one of the more "obscure" rules that WotC would put reminder text for (For example: Ixidron). Like the first ability, there is more than enough space for the reminder text.
So, at the moment, I think this card is not real.
Moreover, I can't imagine they would forget to specify 'nontoken' like Ixidron, even if it technically doesn't matter in the rules.
He's unplayable at nine mana. I'm never gonna get to nine mana, much less waste it all on a Lightning Bolt. Then what? Only three more turns before I hopefully get the win. And as early as turn... 12! Nice!
This sums up my feelings. This is strange combination of abilities and not at all what I was hoping for.
That second ability...wouldn't it need some sort of 'Treat it as a 2/2 colorless creature token.' rider in there? Without this, isn't this currently worded as straight-up EXILE ability?
The more I think about it...I think this might actually be real though. That ultimate is pretty flavorful and I could see em doing exactly that.

He's also unplayable because playing with made up cards will get you kicked out of most games.

I know we all like to be naysayer when we don't have solid evidence that it's legit, but what evidence do we have that it's fake? I like to keep an open mind until either:
A) Enough of us feel it is legit enough to be added to the official list atop the main Rumor Mill page, or
B) a glaring issue is shown that points to fake.
Let's grab the Magic decanter and give this "new" card some time to breathe.
This is weak, and luckily very fake. The rules don't define a face-down permanent as a 2/2 (contrary to popular belief), so the middle ability doesn't even work.
Edit: Nevermind, it looks like 707.2a might actually cover this. Still, very likely fake.
The formatting of the first ability should read "Ugin, the Spirit Dragon" not just "Ugin" and the second ability is too ambiguous, it doesn't even have reminder text like Ixidron does. Its +3 ability is a homage to Ghost Fire, but on a 9 mana walker to way underpowered.

Yes, they do. See Ixidron. Though like that card, if this was real it would also have reminder text for clarity, and would also specify "nontoken permanent."

Actually the rules do define it.
707.2a If a face-up permanent is turned face down by a spell or ability, it becomes a 2/2 face-down creature with no text, no name, no subtypes, no expansion symbol, and no mana cost. A permanent that enters the battlefield face down that wasn't cast as a face-down spell also has these characteristics. These values are the copiable values of that object’s characteristics.

Notice the most recent printing of Ixidron has "they are 2/2 creatures" as reminder text, not rules text.
THIS CARD IS FAKE, but the ability is fine. It just requires reminder text.
I admire the creator's spirit.
I do also think (and hope) it is fake.
If you are casting this on turn 9 you have likely already lost the game.
I hope this is not real. Very underwhelming for a 9 mana planeswalker.

I dont know much about this seasons standard but if there is a good control deck turn 9 is not all that crazy....
I do agree that it is more than likely fake and if not really disappointing for this kind of story character....

Bowie alter for Ugin? I like where this is going.
