Thinking about it a little more, I honestly wish they had stuck to more of a single focus for the new cards in white. I think this token producer is interesting but it seems like there is a bit of two very diffierent directions to the white deck which one side is token swarm and the other being some slight equipment. We of course don't know what white reprints we are getting will be like but at the same time I feel like the overall focus of the deck is more towards the tokens than it is the equipment which is a bit unfortunate in my mind.
It really depends on how the reprints line up though but from what we are seeing I would have more expectation that we will be seeing the white deck be a token deck and not an equipment deck. Its somewhat of a shame too since white equipment stuff has not received much for reprint love.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.

It is true that it can. It is a very different list of cards that would be considered though which is more what I was hitting towards. You will have less of a focus on the equipment in that sort of a token support deck where as you might see more Kor creatures in an equipment focused list.

They should've called this cube 2014 instead of commander. Reef worm, flesh carver and now this white dude. too bad the white 3 slot is so crowded in my cube.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

The effects are too powerful for you alone to get them for their cost, but just powerful enough that I wouldn't want to share them with an opponent either.[/quote
commander is a multiplayer format and these cards have multiplayer in mind.
You untap all and draw 3 while 1 opponent draws 3 and another untaps all

I know what commander is. I play the format and I still think it's better to not play cards that benefit multiple players unless it's a team format or you play a group hug deck.

Many equipment can support token strategies. Skullclamp, Nim Deathmantle (great on this guy), Konda's Banner, Dragon Throne of Tarkir, Pennon Blade, Veteran's Armaments, etc. And Nahiri does a decent job of bridging the gap.

What? My deck runs a fair amount of creatures, and Sun Titan allows for some cooky tricks, as does Hell's Caretaker.
