His flavor would of been better if his first ability was: +3, target opponent loses 3 life. It would be closer to his first printing. Its wierd he siphons life when his other two iterations only care about your opponents losing it.

I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
I like the flavor and abilities, but it feels like he should be 4 loyalty and 3B cmc
a bit too much overcosted in my opinion, especially since he doesn't even defend himself.

3B and 2 life for a 5/5 flyer seems a little too strong. And that's not including the planeswalker you still have, who could make another 5/5 next turn if left alone.
Kinda wish they had switched the -2 ability with his +2 ability, then made the -2 stronger and +2 weaker.
so basically something like each opponent loses 2 life and you gain that much life for his -2
and pay pay XX life for a demon token with and P/T of X for his +2
He seems like a good attrition Commander. You can throw him out there and have him eek out advantage while controlling the board with things like Damnation, The Abyss, Desolation, Contamination and other such things.
I'll try him out inplace of Sheoldred as my mono black Commander, but the deck will have to be tweaked to fit his playstyle.
I was expecting yawgmoth to be the black planeswalker oh well....
Yawgmoth is not and never was a planeswalker, so you were setting yourself up for disappointment from day one if that was your hope/expectation. http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Yawgmoth

You read my mind. He looks like a black knight or something.
He does! Clearly then, his long-standing quarrel with Nahiri stems from not letting her cross his bridge. She then bound him with a hedron and left him, despite his claims that it was only a flesh wound.
So, if you play him and make a demon, either:
- He gets attacked to death. 5 for a 5/5 demon isn't particularly good, but as a worst-case scenario it's reasonable.
- He gets killed by a removal spell. A 5/5 and one of your opponent's cards for 5 mana is pretty solid.
- He lives two turns and makes a second demon. At this point, you're getting insane card advantage and board presence for your mana.
In a color with tons of removal and tutors to protect him from creatures, he seems well-costed.
Wooo! Original Ob! He must've been wearing his armor when he got demonized. His ultimate seems pretty worth it, having a Disciple of Bolas for every turn.

He only has 3 loyalty, he needs to live 3 turns to make 2 demons
Wrong. His + is a +2, not 1.

Man, seeing this really makes me feel even more sorry for what happened to him. He used to be able to summon demons that are larger than the base stats of the current iterations of himself
In the meantime, I think it's amusing that you can have all 3 versions of him out at once.
As a commander he is probably very good since you can recast him to make a demon once the opponent dealt with him and the first demon. As a normal planeswalker he seems weak.
I'm not sure what kind of player is going to pay 5 mana and then 7 mana for 2 5/5 demons, but definitely not one who cares about actually doing things.

Uh? Every player since you also have Ob on board and it does not cost you a card since he is your commander.
He costs you way more than a card because you had to spend your commander slot on him.
Everyone seems to ignore that his +2 effectively has no text.
Which brings up a question - can you kill your own planeswalker by for example pinging yourself and assigning the damage to him? I would assume yes, can you attack your own planeswalker? I guess no, although I think you should be.
Not sure about the first one, but as long as you are the source dealing the damage, I would imagine you could (You lightning Bolted yourself, and redirect to the Planeswalker). You cannot attack yourself or a planeswalker you control.
I want to see that entire piece of art, looks gorey!!! BRUTAL

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.

- Protects himself asap (5/5 flying demon for 3BB? Possibly repeatable? -2 life is nothing in B.)
- Generates CA (token, ultimate)
His first ability is a bit weak, but it has to be. 2 life per opponent would be insane in a 2+ player game (gaining 4 or more for +2?).
**C14 is not for Standard, don't judge it as such**
Really hate the extra effect box for the commander ability; an icon for rules reference would have been so much better.
Even if he could ultimate with it right away, would you even bother? I'd rather ult Liliana Vess and most likely win the game with it.
a bit too much overcosted in my opinion, especially since he doesn't even defend himself.

Yeah, It's a bit of a flavor fail but still quite funny.
I did mean that you could play them all at once, but apparently I can't words today.

Yawgmoth is not a planeswalker though. He'd also be a bit too powerful to print, given that Urza is too powerful.
