should be legendary rare land that is stronger imo, but a pretty neat card

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Yeah i jumped the gun on thinking it was rare. The missing rare is Altar of the Brood. artifact 1 whenever a permanent enters the battlefield under your control opponents put the top card of their library into the graveyard.
I'm glad that's the rare because at uncommon it would break the game i feel
I'm gonna predict colorless spirit dragon creatures in the upcoming set(s).
I'm probably wrong. But I'll gladly be quoted if I'm right.
The "Spirit Dragon" is Ugin, not actually a subsect of dragons. This is Ugin's Final resting place after he was mamed by Bolas. That's why it's weird it isn't legendary. It's as strange as the cycle of rare named lands in Zendikar weren't legendary, but the justification was that the regions in Zendikar are so expansive that they could be represented by multiple lands, but Ugin's "tomb" is a singular location and not an expansive one.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Has return to zendikar already been crossed-out as a possibility for the next block? This card would make for some serious synergy with eldrazi spawn etc.

Ah, alright. I don't know much about MTG lore and I just vaguely know what Ugin is.
Damn...was kind of hoping I would end up being right with an off-the-cuff prediction lol

My guess is that as soon as Khans rotates out, we get return to Zendikar with reprints of the other fetch lands. They probably don't want both sets of fetches in Standard at one time.

They're probably not going to do one block and then immediately continue that arc in the next block, they like to let them simmer. Reviving Ugin to deal with the Eldrazi, then immediately coming back to the Eldrazi isn't the sort of thing wizards does.

I think it's more likely that the ZEN fetches are reprinted in the 3rd set of the Khans block. It's also a large set and since it won't be drafted with KTK (KTK-2nd drafted together, then 2nd-3rd drafted together) that means limited won't have both sets of fetches in it at once.
I am very disappointed. I wanted a morph enabler for standard. Having a 2/2 for 3 never does the job. The land is completely irrelevant in this set.
[...]
I'm with you there, they couldn't really lower the cost of morph, but they could have used this land to reduce it's cost by one, or maybe buff up face-down creatures, gain life for a casting a morph, etc etc.
Maybe between this and Radiant Fountain, we might see a life matters theme in an artifact cycle?

or something like:
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
T: Add 2 to your mana pool. Spend this mana only on morph costs.
I like it for an uncommon as it feels like an uncommon.
At least if you run a deck with artfacts and morph creatures this does do something. Not that it helps much but UR artifacts is a deck atm that could benefit from it.
If this was common would be broken in afinity pauper decks...
Overall good card;
As someone before me said , maybe it is a plant for a return to New Phyrexia... ( This time with way less phyrexian mana symbol ( because it is kind broken) )... We can only hope to see our Diva Norn again
tap add 1 to your mana pool
2 and tap gain one life for each colourless creature you control
edit it's not rare but uncommon
Altar of the brood is rare (thank goodness that card is so potentially butsted)

WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.

It's 3 mana, but yeah, could be fun.
Feel free to tell me yours!

Maybe all the way, or maybe not. Maybe they'll do subtyped lands in order to make it colorless. This land is hinting at that. That's what I think.
:symr::symu::symb:Nicol Bolas Control: symr::symu::symb:
:symr::symg:Ruric Thar, the Unbowed Beatdown :gruul::symgr:

That's because it's really good!
.
No colorless on Mirrodin. It's all black. New Phyrexia.
