Villainous Wealth seems busted. I guess its drawback is being horrid vs aggro the likes of Rabble Red and all that Mardu is getting. But still....omg it tears up Jund and Junk.
I wish there were more good black instants with delve on them. The zombies are ok but blue got a few really cool ones now for drawing and I wish we could see more black versions that utilize it.
I must have missed the first mention of Dig Through Time as its new to me. It seems interesting. It reminds me of Ancestral Memories quite a bit. Sadly its quite a bit more mana but it goes instant and has delve so... interesting I guess. Memories dropped the extras in the grave which was nice but I suppose there is a good chance you can delve three and be paying the same mana for it. Interesting card I guess... I don't know if I would play it anywhere though. I suppose if it dropped them in the grave it might be too strong of a delve enabler though...
The digging through time might also be a lead into the next block where time travel is supposed to be involved.
Can anyone see DelveDig Through Time being a playable card in anything other than Delve decks or decks made of mostly Instants and Sorceries? I'm actually asking.
This strongly supports the "New Cards (No Images)" thread. It was believable already, but now it's nearly factual since Dig Through Time was listed there verbatim. I didn't think it would be rare though.

you throw in 2-3 (so you don't end up drawing two), a few turns in after using fetches, spells and having creatures die it becomes very reasonably costed in a deck that wouldn't otherwise use the graveyard at all

So are any Rares still left ?
& what about the rare 3 Mana creauture-cycle ? Savage Knuckleblade, Mantis Rider.
Will this cycle be completed with Mardu, Abzan & Sultai ? i hope so much !

It's really good in control decks that doesn't care about tearing apart it's graveyard. It digs deep enough to search for an answer. It's not as powerful as Sphinx's Revelation, of course, but it serves a similar pourpose.

They arent just sticking to three mana for this but I think that is acceptable as I think both Abzan and Mardu got good creatures for their picks. I dont think we have seen Sultari's yet though... I could be wrong though.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I can see Dig Through Time eventually being a 4-of in control builds similar to the way Sphinx's Revelation was. It will be less powerful late-game than revelation (though probably not needing to delve to cast at that point), but more useful mid-game to find a wrath or the right answer.
This was exactly the kind of disturbingly powerful incentive I needed to actually start making a Sultai EDH deck.

Dig Through Time won't be a 4 of, but I could see it as maybe 1 or 2.
I could see dig through time being played as a 3 of and maybe even a 4 of.
You'd only have to exile 3 cards from your GY to make it "playable". (I'd argue 3UU instant speed look at 7, draw 2 is VERY playable).

It's not busted at all. Compare it to Genesis Wave and you'll see that it's a lot worse. It has a more restrictive cost (when X is sufficiently big it shouldn't matter, but still), it doesn't put lands into play, and it relies on your opponent's deck which makes it harder to abuse. It does hit non-permanents and that's the biggest plus, but not always relevant. If you look at the mana investment and payoff it starts to look bad.
4 mana = Look at top card and hope that it's a non-land that costs 1.
5 mana = Look at top 2 cards and hope there are non-lands that costs 2.
6 mana = Look at top 3 cards and hope there are non-lands that costs 3.
7 mana = Look at top 4 cards and hope there are non-lands that costs 4.
8 mana = Look at top 5 cards and hope that it's a non-land that costs 5.
Clearly the odds look better as X goes up, but for 8 mana you get to see 5 cards and maybe cast 2 of them? And you don't really have control over what those 2 are? At least with Genesis Wave, for 8 mana you can easily make a deck to play 4 of those 5 cards flipped.
I won't be surprised if all the charms are future FNM promos.

I guess, it's modern playable as 1 or max 2 copies.
