Boon Satyr is a creature spell, and Ascendancy wont trigger from it as it says non-creature spells.
Bestowed Boon Satyr is a noncreature spell. If you bestow a card it loses it's creature type even on the stack. You're casting it as a noncreature aura. That's how the mechanic works.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
The +1/+1 is nice, the looting ability is good but it's the untap all creatures part that pushes this to a new level. Lot's of combo potential there - the most obvious being something like Sprout Swarm in modern but mana dorks and a lot of cantrips also should work.
It is actually better than giving all your guys Prowess, because multiple instances of this card stack, whereas multiple instances of prowess on the same card likely do not.
No, multiple Prowess abilities do stack. Just like Bushido, Cascade, and any other triggered ability keywords.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I'm always trying to find ways to break Intruder Alarm. Now I have a standard tool.
This + 2 Mana Dorks = Stupid amount of mana = stupid amount of filter.
I love it.
I mean, the fact that it triggers off noncreatures makes it very different. Intruder alarm went infinite six ways to sunday, but this won't even really go infinite. (Well theoretically it could...)

It's like Glimpse of Nature. It has the potential to go infinite, you just need to precisely turn your deck so that you don't end the combo too quickly. With Glimpse, it would end by not pulling a 0 mana creature, with this, it would end by pulling back to back mana dorks.

Glad it haven't heard too many complaints about this not having immediate value. Not all cards need to provide instant gratification when they generate loads of value for their cost.
The couple of Convoke spells that 2015 gave us. I'm up for chucking a few free spells.
Wait, why don't I just focus on a token deck. Hammer of Purphoros to give haste. Non-Creature spells that make tokens. Hour of Reckoning, untap, and beat face.

3. "Hey, Numot. Can you come here and lend me a hand with this EDH i'm building?"
With Mana Confluence and Fetchlands, 4-color decks might be viable? Sucks that Chromatic Lantern is rotating right as we get a 3-color block.

What you say: 0CC noncreature artifact.
What I hear: 6 creatures and an Obelisk of Urd.
Edit: Wait! Mnemonic Wall is reprinted in Theros! WOOT!
No, since it wasn't on the battlefield when you cast it.
The fact that it does trigger your other Prowess effects itself makes it nice in a Jeskai limited deck, though.
