Seems decent. There's a ton of tempo waiting to be created by this card. Could be in good in some aggro mirrows and vs creature heavy mid range decks, Awesome art.
The flavor of this card suggests a lot of motion going on but the art kind of falls flat in the aspect. I would have expected something much more fluid.

The dude is hitting her, she is redirecting the kinetic force and CAUSING HIS BONES TO FLY OUT HIS FREAKING HAND!

Yeah...and yet the art is somehow still boring.
EDIT: You have to really look at it up close to notice anything. She's just kinda staring off into space and there's these "waves" that look like they're from a 1960's sci-fi movie to indicate the motion.
And yet, that's why I really like the art. She's managed to *utterly* NO SELL his attack, while barely even moving a muscle. That lady is BAD-ASS.
Eh...I've seen a few people comment that they didn't even notice what was going with other dude's hand at first. I kinda wish someone like Raymond Swanland would've done the art for this, that would've been great.
I like the art. It's subtle and the fact that it's not overly busy really drives home the point. The "stillness" or lack of motion perfectly depicts what's going on here - the fist is like a truck hitting a brick wall. And I like how it just shows the chick standing there with the fist still outstretched. It's like the guy (thing?) punching her just looked down and saw that his knuckles are, in the matter of an instant, completely shattered and torn through the flesh.
What happens if I have a bunch of creatures on the board... say 7 goblins and I play this in response to my opponents anger of the gods? Does that work like I hope it will?

From what I understand, the source has to deal damage to you. So it probably wouldn't save your creatures unless the translation is incorrect.
I've found myself saying this far more often than I have for any other set, but why is this rare? this should be uncommon at most.
Well, it could be worse.
I mean, it could be Alara Reborn's "wait, they printed this card!?" craziness. Ever hear of cards like Lorescale Coatl, Double Negative, or Mycoid Shepherd?
Alara Reborn was hella dumb in the gold cards department. To be honest an effect like the Parrying Jeskai Hand Ripple does feel tame enough to be uncommon, yet at the same time it's that weird sort of efficient and has-a-prior-history-of-rare-status that keeps it stuck to the rare slot.

I loathe creatures! Praise Prison and Land Destruction!

Ah shoot yeah totally misread it. Thank you.
