3 great modes that are quite different
-Instant Duress
-Instant Mizzium Mortars without overload
-First Strike Raise the Alarm
Better versions of two good cards and slightly worse version of another good card, would be overcosted individually but the versatility is more than worth it. Most important is that it is live and strong in every matchup. Discard is fantastic against control, removal is decent vs aggro (cost hurts) and strong vs midrange (can kill most 3-4cmc drops), and the instant tokens are good vs aggro, they can pick off a creature with first strike and live to do it again or chump block, as well as giving the card a way to do some damage to the opponent (or his walkers) by flashing in on his end step.
It is worth noting that, unlike Boros Charm, it isn't good in an aggro deck, it is strictly midrange/control (naturally midrange is more likely with the colors).
Great card. Instant speed duress or flame slash is great, but wrapping both with a raise the alarm variant into one nice lil' package is just awesome. Let's hope the other 3 charms are as awesome as the first two.
Was not expecting to see something spoiled before tomorrow. Pleasantly surprised. I hope the rest of the charms are as solid as the ones spoiled so far.
It seems like a good card, but it is disappointing to me that they just gave it a clearly red mode, a white mode, and a black mode. I would like to see some more creativity with the modes. Also kinda don't like how red and black get 1 cmc sorcery abilities at instant for 3 cmc, while white gets a 2 cmc instant with upside for 3. Kinda odd. Powerful card though, just weird design for me personally.

They did the same thing with the Sultai Charm (First = Black, Second = Green, Third = Blue). I'd be surprised if the rest of the charms didn't follow the same formula.

The entire point of charm cards is that you get multiple card abilities on one card. This means you can save deck slots, which many decks are willing to do even if hitting the colour/mana requirements to do so are higher.
I think Temur is going to be fight, loot, hexproof.
Yeah, I think you got the fight and the hexproof one spot on, but the Sultai Charm already has a loot mode (and a really good one with "draw two, discard one"). Maybe the red mode is fight (instead of green) and the green mode is some kind of Giant Growth? It could also be a 4/4 Bear token producer.
The Temur charm and Jekai charm have a lot of pressure for them to be good. Simply giving hexproof to one dude will seem like lackluster to Simic Charm and one indestructible in comparison to Boros Charm.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
This is obscene. I've been playtesting the new standard as they become released with proxies in my playgroup and RWB build with Rabblemaster and that stupid Khan was already oppressive as **** and borderline improbable to beat unless you got a nut draw. This charm sure obscene. Absolutely ridiculous. "Did you draw that sorcery speed answer? Let me see real quick." Instant speed duress, even for 3, is ridiculous and feels very unfair.

Kills Coursers, hence it will see standard play. End of story. Also very nice that it can be a random combat blowout, add instant-speed threats to the board, and clear the way of any possible problem spells that your Thoughtseizes might have missed.
I don't think it quite matches the raw power of Sultai Charm, but it's much more versatile. Sultai Charm only destroys on-board things, and if you need something else, you have to dig for it. This builds board states, destroys board states, and attacks hands, all with clutch instant-speed timing.
Apocrypha, I don't think it would be that hard to make an aggro charm that wouldn't be "too good in other decks." Wouldn't one simply make the modes relate to creatures? For example: "Creatures you control get +2/+0 and First Strike until end of turn" ...off the top of my head.
It's a strong charm, but it doesn't fit with what we know about Mardu. Mardu is about relentlessly attacking your opponent into submission whereas this charm is everything but that. Can (instant) Flame Slash be good in aggro? Sure, so can Raise the Alarm (with benefits) on occasion. Still, over-all NONE of the modes are geared specifically towards bashing with dudes. Duress at three mana is far from being anywhere near aggro. It's closer to a control card than an aggro one.
