Every time I see the cat demon I think, "Rakshasa, Golden Cub." It's even a gold cat. All the morphs seem a little fragile. The blue and black ones have to most potential although the while one should be everywhere in limited.

Protection from reason (Decadent_Creed can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by reason.)
black one seems very mardu. morph, attack, flip over if blocked, reveal raid cad you are going to cast anyways. killed the blocker, they lose two life and you get your raid trigger. Most effective
blue one as mentioned is nice against damaged based removal. revealing hand is good against other morph and nice with a later thoughtseize draw so you can tell if something really needs removed from their hand.
The white on is...ok. I don't see much reason to play it without morph though, the cmc is the same. gain 2 life at the cost of revealing a white card. shouldn't be too bad.
Green one has good power, but the effect seems minor.
Red one. I don't like too much, but a can't block suprise can't be that bad.
The whole cycle seems nice. Maybe not constructed nice on all of them, but a lot of fun. or pain if you are the opponent.
Rakshasa is a nice card, but it suffers from only being a decent body that just gets fatter. evasion or hexproof would have been too much for it though. Morph seems like it would be hilarious on it, flipping in response to graveyard hate or not having blockers and then delving. Maybe there will be a legendary land or artifact tat gives all creatures morph with a morph cost of their mana cost. One can dream.
Oh cool, demon cats.
So does that now mean that there can be demonic variations of all kinds of other creature types now?
Demon Hound
Demon Bird
Demon Human
Demon Zombie
Demon Ooze
Interesting
I like how in the uncommon cycle, when you flip them, they become better in some way, and worse in some way. Blue loses power, green loses toughness, red can no longer block without you taking 1 damage, and so on.
0/6 for two mana and no drawbacks has never been done. And this one has an upside (morph)? Hmmm. I also think the green and white ones may have merit.
Well, the Rakshasa are based on actual honest to god mythology. If those other demon combinations have examples in mythology, it's possible.
Hmmm, I dunno. Almost nothing in Magic follows real life mythology, so I doubt they'll start requiring their designs to start doing so now. Sometimes you just get flying turtle-fish.

Demon Ooze? Sounds like something you'd flush down the toilet after a really bad hangover.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Ok, just curious, how do you guys feel about Delve as a mechanic?
I've been a bit on-the-fence about it for awhile and I don't know why exactly, because now I think it's pretty cool.
I just hope that it doesn't turn out like Scavenge did in Ravnica. (i.e. there are cards that rely on you having cards in your graveyard after you just exiled cards FROM your graveyard)

I hoped they would put it in a set with actual "exile" mechanic and graveyard matters in a big kind, this is quite unworthy, as Delve is a mechanic that simply doesnt work good if you play a bunch of Delve cards, they just become worse instead of better.
Together with flashback and self-mill, maybe add in alternative costs of pitch spells and you get a set that has a lot of options that "exile" cards, and then effects that interact with the exile.
However, as they stated, they dont want the exile to really matter, as they dont want it to be just "another" graveyard ; which i can see, but it would also work around the tremendous graveyard hate and allow a different angle to work with (as we have stupid strong graveyard hate, that just allows the most overpowered form of graveyard shenanigans to have any hope in constructed ; stuff like threshold, simply cant work anymore with so much graveyard removal and it is too slow, unless you pack the amount of legacy fuelled powerlevel cards).
That in combination with the walk back in powerlevel simply cant make Delve a real deal. They had Tombstalker and it proved playable, so they just print "worse" cards than that.
And as Delve asks for lots of colorless manacosts, it also doesnt work well with devotion, which all just adds up to make the mechanic less cool as it could be.
*I mean, if Delve would allow to remove black cards for black mana, kinda like convoke works (tap green creature, reduce green mana) , THAT would allow at least some cards that dont have a crap ton of colorless mana in the cost.
So Delve "could" be cool, and just ends as a low to mediocre limited mechanic and "maybe" a single card that is worth to eat up all your graveyard cards, especially with fetchlands, its just not going to be a real thing beside that.
This cycle is pretty excellent for limited, and a couple of them have constructed potential.
White: 2-power fliers are decent in limited, and adding some extra value on top of that makes it likely better than your average common. While there's no reason to play it unmorphed unless you have no white cards, a 2-power flyer for 2 is too good in limited.
Blue: The best unmorph effect, and the worst body. Only good in a controlling limited deck, but it could see fringe constructed play in the right meta.
Black: Obviously great in limited, but I don't see it doing much for constructed.
Red: In any sort of aggressive deck this card is great. The most likely to see constructed play.
Green: Having more power when unmorphed makes up for the weak ability. It's unlikely to see constructed play due to it's colors being wrong for aggro
The black one is obviously good, but I think people are underestimating the blue one. Not only does Dragon's Eye Savants have a bigger butt than Nyx-Fleece Ram (albeit without the valuable life gain,) but if you morph it, you can turn it face up in response to a Magma Jet or Lightning Strike even when you're tapped out. This makes it double as a 2/2 that simply turns into a 0/6 when it's burned; that's not without use. Being able to block unmonstrous Polukranos as a two drop and live is nothing to sneeze at either. Looking at an opponent's hand can also be valuable. The card has a lot of utility.
If nothing else, janky Phenax mill decks will love the card.

Trolljutai, YOLOghan, Swagumgar, Bromoka, and Derptarka, the Elder Dragons.
The black morpher can be used to get cards into the yard, but I can't recall a card from this set that I really want in the grave. Hopefully something will popup, but without flash back.... Maybe some sort of reanimator with the Whip of Erebos and Rescue from the Underworld could get big if we get a creature that's worth it.

By the way, with this new site, at what time they put the new content each day? Cause i was used to watch it at 11 pm in my time zone
I think new content wil come in 10 minutes
