Now we know why the zombie tokens dont enter the battlefield tapped anymore.
People need to sure up there reading skills it only hates on your opponents graveyard and not on your own.
Keeping your opponents critters out of the yard is actually pretty good in commander.
Unfortunately, being able to play her and Brimaz (with his WW) in the same deck seems difficult. I think that for tricolor creatures, 4-5 is probably a much better spot to be. An aggro deck will not be able to play the taplands, getting all three colors t3 may require playing a full set of fetches, painlands, and mana confluence.
if you're gonna make topics for official spoilers, please use appropriate titles. why is this junk? it's a reasonably costed creature and above the curve. it can serve in different archetypes. this and end hostilities is brutal.
Junk is the (former?) name for the color combination WBG. See f. ex. Junk in Standard, Junk in Modern. It has nothing to do with judging the card.
That's a chase card if I ever saw one. She is going to be a force in Standard, as others have said going to go straight into Pod for Modern, is a pretty cool commander even if I don't think she'll be top tier in EDH (Narset is the insane one for EDH so far) and should go in plenty of cubes
Noooooooooooooooooo
Please
WOah-teck
you give me sidisi
then you print hate for her
She very nearly stops dredge before it can get much more in the grave beyond a T2 Satyr Wayfinder or Commune with the gods if the opp is lucky enough to have the mana by T3.. what are the odds of that?
anyway, she's pretty cool, kinda like the flavor that she helps toughen u pher other followers, making THEM hard(er) to kill, so even if you remove her, you still have her army to deal with
also, her attack trigger is not Outlast (this is good) and feels moe aggro than raid
I don't like it. The second ability, while good, just seems random as hell and completely tacked on
Well, the history of competitevely good creatures is : undercosted, with some usefull ability and some another, dumb ability that seems out of place but is actually epicly usefull. In pod mirrors for example as someone mentioned.
I'm surprised they printed this with birthing pod still running around in modern, this is way too good for that deck. Hates on graveyard strategies, resets a finks, AND can't be bolted. This is why they need to just ban pod, it's going to get out of control at some point.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Wow, way to ***** all over another clan, none of the other clan leaders spoiled have a natural hate mechanic for the others built into them. We haven't even seen a Delve card worth a ***** yet, so I hope something is coming to warrant this ridiculous pushed hate card being printed. Otherwise this is just going to be Theros all over again with a billion bandaids and hard counters to Gods making them undesirable to play.
I'm not too worried about this hosing any Dredge or Any other Standard graveyard shenanigans any time soon. Considering that those decks would be BUG, I'm sort that they would deal with it right away. She's not as crushing as Rest in Peace.
For anyone complaining about lack of flavor on her exile ability:
The Abzan take in orphans from the cities they conquer, so it makes sense that your opponent won't have any creatures left behind in their graveyard.
I haven't read the whole thread yet, but she's a legit reason to start grabbing some of those mono-green Ferocious critters earlier than later in your Azban limited deck. If Temur has a common / uncommon 4/4 bear maker in mono-green you could grab a couple of those as well.
Turn two Heir of the Wilds, Turn three Anafenza; attack with 3 power turn three; attack with 8 power turn four. I know Anafenza is a mythic, but that doesn't sound too easy of an aggressive clock to get through in sealed or draft.
This is so... Boring. I'm really dissappointed. Not because I don't think it's good, but I feel like this is a really bland card for a mythic rare clan leader. I thought Sidisi looked Boring...
I really have my finger's crossed for Surrak Dragonclaw. Please be cool
This lady is going to be awesome in melira pod I think, she's pod-able one sided grave hate that can reset your persist creatures. On top of all that, she's the right colors for the deck with a low cost so hard casting her isn't impossible, and her 4/4 body is nothing to scoff at.
Aside from it's applications in pod though... She's really, really boring. Graveyard hate on a mythic legend feels pretty stupid to me.
I think Anafenza is pretty ok, but I have to admit the Graveyard hate seems a bit out of place for her.
Surrak might actually turn me to the Temur if I like him and his bear-punching powers enough.
Anafenza should have had her first ability combined together with Ivorytusk Fortress' ability IMO. Way more flavourful. Khan leads the attack on clans enemies, but ensures strong defenders are always left behind to defend the homeland and their people.
Ivorytusk could then have been:
Outlast
Damage dealt to creatures you control is dealt to Ivorytusk Fortress instead.
^ e.g. a mobile fortress that troops use to defend themselves with and would work amazingly well with my re-jigged Khan...
Oh well, totally get that Anafenza was pushed for constructed instead.
Here we go, a middle-aged woman riding on goats. Not really what i expected from leader of my faction
Middle aged? I'd say thirty at most, from the picture. Unless you consider thirty year old woman to be middle aged...that I would not try to say in anyone's face, if you like YOUR face

Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
Personally, I like her, and considering the description we were given of her personality-wise, it seems perfect. She was described as a a leader who leads from the front line, which is exactly what this card says. A lot of people are judging it as an aggro card, which it may be outside of standard, particularly Pod (where it'll be incredible), but I see it as an early defensive card to hold the fort while you build your army. Fits Abzan and the description of Anafenza perfectly.
Granted, it does seem to have been created with not only Sultai/standard in mind, but eternal formats as well. I feel like a card doesn't end up being this good in eternal formats by accident.
I swear I first read it as Wingbonger...something tells me that "As Long as Wingbonger is paired with another creature, both creatures have weed." wouldn't be as good. Seems solid for limited.
Don't like it. Undercosted beater that hoses a much cooler card, Sadisi. There's nothing interesting about this card other than the fact it was pushed. Boring. (And a downer because of the graveyard hate.)
She's interesting. She should, at the very least, be a good sideboard card with rest in peace rotating out and Delve and sidisi coming in to support graveyard strategies.
I really don't like that they made a khan who's soul purpose seems to be shutting down another khans ability, though. Especially one so efficiently costed.
