Pre-release prices will likely be higher than where these land, once more and more players start opening them from boxes, pre-releases, and then we factor in redemption's these cards will drop in value.
I mean just look at the shocklands even before Dragon's Maze added a bit more onto the market they were below available for 10-12 cash easily only a few weeks after release. Fetchlands are probably more useful across multiple formats than shocklands, but we are going to see an insane amount of this product opened.
Khans is going to be opened to an insane degree. More people are playing Magic than ever these days-- Theros was the best selling block of all time-- so that gives us a baseline amount of product sold; and then there are vets, people who normally NEVER buy sealed product, who will be buying in because the fetches are such an attractive payout. I'd expect them all to stabilize around $10 with the possible exception of Polluted Delta. Foils are another matter, and one on which I'd not care to speculate.
One interesting thing, though, is that the prices of non-fetch rares are going to be depressed pretty substantially by the number of product opened looking for fetches. If you're a store owner or regular player cracking packs looking for fetches, you're going to open a lot of other stuff that you don't particularly care about and dump it on the secondary market. I'd say that there's going to be a pretty low dip in the price of non-rare fetches until the initial disruption settles.
Ya know what's really ironic? This wedge block is going to better support shards than wedges in modern because of these lands. With this esper has a far more playable land base as well as all the other shards, and if the shards block continues to have more powerful cards than khans, then they will most likely be more playable. It's just too bad, because most of the rares and mythics have a really low power level.
