Outlast is definitely not what I was hoping for for Abzan. I'm willing to see how it goes with the rest of the clan though. Herald of Anafenza is a quite efficient little package, though. It builds an army and grows itself at the same time.
Just saw the Dragon-Style Twins. That card has "Intro Deck rare" written all over it.

you can generally tell the easiest road to victory by how many players congregate on it; and the road of counterspells/control has been the freeway of choice in magic for quite some time.

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.
I like what I am seeing so far. Delve as a mechanic in a non graveyard set makes a great deal of sense, since its not fighting against the rest of the set's theme. Outlast looks grindy and feels like the kind of ability Erik Lauer would go for. I expect there'll be some hidden gems there. Curious to see how far the Wedge theme goes. Will it appear at common? Only time will tell.
Hmm...got so distracted I forgot about the spoilers! Alright:
Duneblast: pretty big meh. Probably alright in some EDH decks, especially ones that play voltron or have really beefy generals. So...Ghave?
Narset: Finally! Another URW legend! I've been wanting to make a URW EDH deck forever, but everyone does Zedruu, I don't like Ruhan and Numot is too mean. She looks like a lot of fun but why...WHY 6 mana for a measly 3/2 with no evasion?
Herald: Neat little card. Efficient P/T to cost ratio, generates advantage (at a slooow pace). Reminds me of Rhys. Maybe I'll even put it in my Rhys deck, I don't know.
Sultai Charm: Love me some charms! this one looks pretty alright. Can't wait to see the rest.
Necropolis Fiend: Ewwwwwww Delve. Ewwwwwww expensive Delve creature that requires more Delving for it's ability.
Temur Ascendancy: Love this card so much! Really wish I could use it in EDH, but sadly my Riku deck is spellslinger. I can try to fit it in Animar, but I didn't want more than two non-creature spells.
Madru Skullhunter: Eeeeh...a slightly beefier, conditional Ravenous Rats that ETB tapped? Not too impressied...
Crackling Doom: Possibly my favorite of the bunch. Another nice Sunforger target for my Kaalia deck.
Okay, so while these are all real goddamn cool the only one I'll be able to use for the foreseeable future is Narset, but holy hell is she a thing I wanted. I've been praying for Narset to be good ever since the KTK setting ect. was revealed a month ago, and that's because I really needed a good general in the Jeskai colors that would actually work in cube, and goddamn does she fill that role.
I should clarify that the important part is that she works in cube. Numot and Zedruu are good, and Ruhan is cool enough to build a deck for, but none of them work in cube. Numot has nothing to build around, Zedruu requires a lot of specific support that no other generals would want to take so I can't include them in cube, and Ruhan isn't particularly good or exciting to build around in multiplayer. I'll probably leave Numot in, just so I can have 2 generals per wedge/clan, but this is really good news for me.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

Absolutely zero surprise at Sultai using Delve.

R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
You'll only be able to get off a few Delves before your effects are dead.
That's the beauty of it. It takes skill to be able to maximize the use of limited resources. Sultai is definitely the most Spike-y clan.
R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
Yeah but she is pretty awesome.
Yeah, I wanted a cheap UWR legend that wasn't Ruhann of the I'm a 7/7.

They probably intend people to use the Elephant Fortress with Outlast....
