for even more clarity, they should add the phrase "of the following". choose two implies there's an X or N value in the following text that will use the number in its effect.
I think someone reading the bullets for the first time will understand what is implied, and that's all that matters.

Old enough to know better, much too young to care.
This makes much more sense from a grammatical point of view than the semicolons did. If anything they should have been commas, since "or" (a conjunction) was being used.
Problem is they couldn't use commas because some effects already have commas in them (e.g. "Draw a card, then discard a card") and it could get confusing. Semicolons aren't really that much nicer, so I'm glad they're moving to bullet points.
This is one of those changes where you wonder "Why wasn't it like that in the first place?"
Wreaks havoc on the text boxes of cards like Bow of Nylea, Skinshifter and Ulasht, though, but it's worth that sacrifice IMO.
Bleh. Skinshifter especially has been hit with the ugly stick because of the "base power and toughness" templating and the repeating activate only once restriction.
So, in short, the only thing we have is a more clean Gatherer, but no actual proof that the cards will be templated in this way in the future.
I won't say that confirms anything by a long shot. The thread title is misleading. A hint, maybe. Confirmation? Heck no.
When I see an actual card with these, then it will be confirmed.
Neat find, though.

Thread title seems pretty accurate to me. It doesn't imply any of the things that you are complaining about it.

only if they use colons as is common practice to denote that a list is following. A dash has no such significance. furthermore, adding a short clear phrase doesn't take up more space, since the opening phrase is on its own line.

When I wrote the post, the title was "Bullet points confirmed for Khans!", with the OP claiming that this is the confirmed new template for modal spells for (paper cards in) Khans & forward. It was edited since then...

I think the change is kind of cool. It will make this type of card stand out a little more. As for Skinshifter, I would if they could template his ability as such:
G: Activate this ability only once each turn. Choose one —
• Until end of turn, Skinshifter becomes a Rhino with base power and toughness 4/4 and gains trample.
• Until end of turn, Skinshifter becomes a Bird with base power and toughness 2/2 and gains flying.
• Until end of turn, Skinshifter becomes a Plant with base power and toughness 0/8.
So, in short, the only thing we have is a more clean Gatherer, but no actual proof that the cards will be templated in this way in the future.

The card texts in Gatherer are taken directly from the latest update of Oracle, are they not? In that case, they carry the same weight as official spoilers (beacuse they are official spoilers, albeit for cards that already exist).

Ah, okay. I looked at the first post before my reply, and it didn't say it was edited. I thought the first post needed to be edited to change the title.

I wish that kind of ability didn't need to say "power and toughness". Something like:
Until end of turn, Skinshifter becomes a base 4/4 Rhino and gains trample.
or:
Until end of turn, Skinshifter becomes a Rhino that's base 4/4 and gains trample.
All cards that offer a choice have been reformatted on gatherer to have bullet points. Here's cryptic command's new oracle text:
Choose two —
• Counter target spell.
• Return target permanent to its owner's hand.
• Tap all creatures your opponents control.
• Draw a card.
I like this templating change, it makes charms/commands much easier to read.
"Hey, let's run out a wedge block. What should be in it?"
"Something with a triple-mana casting cost."
"Brilliant!"
Lol apparently they skipped right passed triple and went straight to quadruple single-color casting cost.
Next week, I'm back with a pretty exciting preview card, one that I am almost positive will make a splash in Standard, despite its pretty steep cost— xxBBBB

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

No, they repeated the "Activate this ability only once each turn" for each separate ability. I was wondering if they could put it once at the beginning.
Seems like bulleting could make certain Commands unreprintable. Incendiary, Profane, and Primal already strained their respective text boxes, and now they would add line breaks?

What I find offensive is not that Wizards is endeavoring to make the game more accessible, but the attitudes of elitists who act as though no one of any age should show their face in the Magic public without first having mastery over the complexities of the game.
I for one am looking forward to a Cryptic reprint with bullet points, it's going to look so tidy. Never been a huge fan of textless promos, and while the textless Cryptics are beautiful, textless and foreign language cards kinf of make me feel stupid when I'm playing against someone that doesn't know the exact wording of one of my cards and has to ask me about it.
