We would need some effective Prowess creatures for this, but a UR Aggro could be a thing. Or WU Control being a little creature heavier in the next Standard (less likely).
What I'm curious to see is how many creatures with Prowess do something else when their power increases. As that's the sort of thing that'll make this actually work.
I know Jeskai is Izzet/Azorius, but this does seem like a good fit for these color combinations. Izzet has seen severalguyslike this, and the added bonus for artifacts/enchantments/planeswalkers can come in handy. Overall, the strategy seems to be to play some smallish guys and support them with tricks. I wish it was Prowess N though, I guess we could see a guy with Prowess twice but having a few slightly more swingy guys sounds like it would have been worthwhile.
Weird. Prowess seems better on a R creature backed up by burn than on a U or W creature. Not sure I like Prowess being limited only to +1/+1 either. It should have been Prowess X to be more flexible. At least it has synergy with enchantments so that W isn't left in the dust.
Soo a Storm for creatures as a mechanic ( although we have seem this before , i like!) 1U seems good if we get some suport for it i will like very much but otherwise if we have to work on batletricks only then i think it will not be that good... But as it is uncommon give me hopes we can get good things
Prowess is going to be fantastic for my deck. I think the restriction to +1/+1 is fair, since it's triggered by so many more card types than say, Kiln Fiend and it's ilk.
Prowess is an interesting mechanic, though. It definitely rewards you for playing multiples. Imagine swinging with 4 or 5 creatures with prowess and then cast Inspired Charge or Sanctified Charge in response.
Seeing the returns of the tri-lands, maybe we'll get some sort of wedge obelisks too.

Prowess... has potential, but I doubt it'll go far since it is probable that they won't print cards like ponder/brainstorm. Getting +1/+1 after casting a 4 mana spell doesn't seem all that good. I feel like there should be variable magnitude to this ability.. But hey, have 2 or 3 creatures with prowess in play, cast a removal spell and gain 3 more P/T? Doesn't seem too bad.
Trilands, yessssss. (Not shocking, but still great to have confirmation.)
Granny monk, neat.
I like the look and feel of Khans so far. I know it's supposed to be a "bottom-up" block, but the flavor seems really sweet from what they've shown.

Prowess is actually a very interesting ability, because it creates a sort of tension during battle. Especially on this card your opponent has to make a diffcult decision: Do you risk losing a creature by blocking and then die to a pumped prowess creature, or do I take the damage and let my opponent draw a card, which may even pump his creature in the next attack.
The ability is simple but leads to very interesting gameplay and when put on the right cards can lead to very nonlinear situations that test a player's soft skills.

The Jeskai mechanic is Prowess (Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
Shout out to commandercast for keeping me entertained.

Maybe, there will definitely have to be some form of extra manafix at common/uncommon to support three colors. Panoramas would be fine, I guess.
you mean to say decks outside limited don't play non creature spells? especially blue, they certainly don't.
just imagine a 1/1 flier with prowl.
