Sar'khan isen't wearing the same cloth as the other picture we got of him. Also, he look younger and kind of angry. Maybe it's the Sar'khan of the past?
Really looking forward to learning more about this plane.
I don't know what Rakshasas look like outside of D&D, but in D&D they have reversed palms. This one doesn't.
Rakshasas are mythological and so can look however you want them to look.
I love the art direction they're taking with this. I love how it's incorporating basically China, the Eurasian steppes, the Turks, Siberia, and India. I have a huge soft spot for that area of the world's history.
EDIT: Actually, the Abzan look like they might be Arab based rather than Turkic, what with the huge fortress and chariot.

“A man's at odds to know his mind cause his mind is aught he has to know it with. He can know his heart, but he dont want to. Rightly so. Best not to look in there. It aint the heart of a creature that is bound in the way that God has set for it. You can find meanness in the least of creatures, but when God made man the devil was at his elbow. A creature that can do anything. Make a machine. And a machine to make the machine. And evil that can run itself a thousand years, no need to tend it.”

It's funny, I told my boyfriend that I wondered if this set would have nagas as soon as it was announced. I'll be so happy if one of my favorite fantasy races finally makes it to Magic. <3
Also, is the Sultai khan male or female? I originally thought female, but it seemed more male in the trailer.

I love the idea of another Eastern set. I would have loved a return to Kamigawa, but this will serve well enough! I was psyched enough by the concept of a Mongol block, but now we're getting art inspired from all over Asia and I'm hooked. In fact, I've never been so pumped for a new set.
Really looking forward to learning more about this plane.
Naga are a part of the Sultai.
We are also getting Rakasha that are said to be "at home in a cat or demon deck" (paraphrased from watching the panel last night).

It's all on the SDCC thread in the first post.
Rakshasa is literally just the Sanskrit/Hindi word for demon, and in mythology they never looked anything like that.
I highly doubt that this will be a Mongolian wedge snow time-travel block. That along with Morph would probably mean that too much is going on.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.

Kind of angry? His eyes are on fire.

you forgot orcs coming back...
It told me that I need to save up my money these next few months so I can buy approximately 1000 packs of Khans. That's all I really needed to know.
Edit: The orcs are a pretty heavy buzzkill, though. Like, why the hell?
Best info is in this thread but as for the Khan colors for reference.
