I reckon we might see
- Allied fetchlands in KTK
- Some kind of mana rock in Fate Reforged and the art on these certainly fit the block
- Enemy fetches in the third set
Oh, this is unfortunate. These cards were obsoleted long ago, by quite a few cards over the years. They haven't been playable in any format for about a decade, and they're not even worth 5 cents per card. What will reprinting them accomplish, unless some block or standard deck happens to need a crappy 2cc mana accelerator?
You may find the debate on the previous pages interesting then, where people argue whether these are too strong for Standard or not, and whether or not Wizards hold this view. Or perhaps I should say, "you may find the debate depressing...."
The Diamond cycle would be pretty bonkers in Standard. They are deceptive because they are simple and haven't been printed in some time. But can you imagine them in a deck that otherwise wouldn't have any accelerants (i.e. Monoblack or Monoblue)?
