Awesome two cards, love them both. Limited bombs for sure and the green one may see play in mono green decks. Two x/x creatures at once is not a joke, especially when they'll usually be at least 4/4 or probably higher once they drop.
Don't know really where the artifact will go though.
Hmm... I can't see the articles yet. I guess this has something to do with them changing the times they get posted, but it's pretty annoying.
Also the Doom Engine looks pretty stupid and not particular good either. Not a card I have any interest in playing anyway. Treefolk dude is pretty cool, but no evasion at all makes it too weak.
So, we have 2 potentially playable 6-mana 6/6 artifact creatures in the same set.
I feel like this is a first, especially since this is not an artifact set (Yes, artifact sub-theme, but this is not mirrodin here)
Seems to be a distinct lack of obviously bad rares and mythics in this set and an overwhelmingly high number of (at least fringe) playable cards. This is a good sign.
Scuttling Doom Engine is just, magnifique in the current standard meta.
Worst case scenario, it get countered or exiled. (not likely in first game, but after sideboard...)
Medium case scenario, it get destroyed/die and it still deal 6 damage to opponent for 6 CMC.
Great scenario, it attack, doesn't get chump block by whinny token creature. Might kill some heavy threat, or deal 6 damage repeatedly to opponent.
As for the Treefolk. it's a Nightmare for forest with an ETB effect that put a "clone" of himself. Not bad.

Any deck that hates Sylvan Caryatid blockers and Elpeth Tokens.
The Doom engine actually could see some play. Killing it is painful and you can't chump block it with say, mutavault or soldier tokens.
I could see some of the bigger RW Burn decks running this at the top of the curve. Why not? It's either a 6/6 unblockable, or it eats their 3/3s and 2/4s, or dies and deals 6 to the face. Either way, you win.

Now that we have a bunch of artifacts to use with it, is anyone else hoping trading post sees a reprint in m15?
EDIT: before anyone replies, I was aiming at flavor not power.

Tree is kind of nice but easily forgettable.
