Instead of ally pain lands in khans I'm expecting to see ally fetch lands in khans.
Why? Why even start this line of speculation? It seems pretty obvious that Khans will more than likely finish the 10land cycle. It has been said a couple times nkw by wizards that they work 2 years out and they didnt foresee the fetchland spike. This to me seems to point at them being in fall of next year at the earliest. I also seem to remember someone askng about them at Pax and being told not to expect them soon.
Also if you are trolling, bravo!

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!
*crawl crawl*
Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
So we get the enemy colored painlands and not the allied color ones? Well that's reverse of the norm, but I thought Wizards was planning to do full 10 land cycles from now on.
Apparently, they like do the 5 lands in Core Set and 5 lands in the next Expansion Set. (see checklands with Innistrad and Magic 2013)
So I wonder if fetches are going to start getting dumped. This seems like a pretty good indicator that fetches will see a reprint in Khans. Time to take note now of the prices to see if the fluctuate.

I will read it again. I admit I only skimmed it, my phone and the new site dont get along well.
Ok not sure what I said that is too far off, I guess the cycle in khans could be all new giving the decks with these lands an advantage. But nothing seems to point to fetches and it is annoying that people think EVERY comment does. The article even says a cycle of dual lands are in khans.
Recently, everyone's butthurt that they're not getting fetchlands in every new product to come and it hurts your game-enjoyment. Have yourselves some casual format from time to time so you can put "I don't own a playset of every fetchland for modern yet, cuz, well, DAMN 'EM PRICEY!" thougths aside and have FUN! Seriously, guys.
The good news is, of the rare duals printed in the last fifteen years, these are only the third-worst choice for a reprint after the Lorwyn block tribal lands and Odyssey's reliably bad Darkwater Catacombs cycle. The other good news is that now a whole new generation of players will learn to hate painlands.

Actually I think its a strong sign that we'll have ally duals of a new type of land, not fetches, no reprints.
At the end of the article Sam said the lands in khans would see standard play and immediately he bragged about how he said the same thing about the scrylands and though people were skeptical, he turned out to be right. Why even bring that up if its just gonna be a reprint? That looks like a very strong sign of a new land cycle, maybe allies in the first set followed by enemy in the last 2 sets.
Wizards did say they wanted to support all ten color pairs but make it difficult to allow color-greedy decks (3+).
Guildgates, Temples, Shocks. Two are soon to rotate. Mana Confluance and enemy Painlands (IN A CORE SET!!! Talk about teaching new players...) and Temples.
No allied fetchlands this time, guys. At least not in the first set.
However, I wouldn't be surprised to see R/W Dwarves and other oddly matched "armies" in the Fall block.
I don't actually mind these duals. I'm happy for Shivan Reef.
When it comes to lands, I've kind of gone into a nihilistic stupor of "Nope. Not fetchlands. Not fetchlands ever again." so I wasn't holding my breath.
I don't see the confirmation anywhere in the article. Also, does anyone else has noticed that he explicitly says that M15 has ONLY 5 LANDS?! And Sliver Hive & Darksteel Citadel are both confirmed... Possibly Urborg will be soon too.

Poor, Caves of Koilos - just got reprinted and then reprinted again.
Nothing brings me more joy to know that I can get a playset of good lands for less than $4.
Thank you. Because this. Just this so much. I see people moaning over these, and I guess to some level I get it. You get your shocks and your scrylands, and I'm sure there will be a new cycle of lands in Khans that'll just wow everyone too. Let the budget conscious of us enjoy our cheap playables while we can
Good news is because this will be the 4th printing of the cycle they should be relatively inexpensive and easy to acquire for new players. I'd rather have all 10 painlands in the core set, but 5 will be fine...I guess...

Yea they're not perfect, but they come into play untapped so they're serviceable. I STILL hate the scry lands. I don't care what he says about everyone accepting them. They're a miserable excuse for a dual land.
Khans can't finish this 10 card cycle, as allied ones have Dominaria-specific names.

I never got why people hate these so much. I quite like them.
