Looks like the sweeper will be the chase mythic of the set. I'm going to have to get a few of those. I'm not sure if it's better or worse than Oblivion Stone though.
Depends on what you are using it for. Gr Tron in modern will probably still want Oblivion Stone since it doesn't mess up Wurmcoil Engine and you already have Relic of Progenitus.
Would of preferred Jace 1.0 and a new Liliana instead. Or Jace 4.0 of getting the Sorin 1.0 treatment and Liliana getting a mew version. I hope this means Liliana may see a new card in Tarkir!
Though Vess was a given with the amount of evidence pointing towards her, though her PS3 promo card art would of been the bomb to have in standard!
You know its bad when 95% of the quality removal for standard comes from a block that is rotating soon.
Thank Christ though, mono black basically being removal and a couple of dudes.dek is seriously boring.
But then again, you did use the "dies to removal" argument on why its not good, so I guess there's that too. :/
If you took what I said and boiled it down to "dies to removal," then you missed the entire point, and there's no further discussion to be had. I think I've made it pretty clear why a 5 drops that have no immediate impact on the board are rarely, if ever, competitive constructed cards. I don't feel at all compelled to rehash it for a 3rd time because you're choosing to ignore it.
As for the rotating mass of removal spells, don't think for a second that we won't have a fresh stack of good removal to replace it in the coming sets. And yea, she'll still die to all of it too.

Currently playing:
Standard: I, for one, welcome our new rhinoceros overlords
Modern: Pod's dead, Bob's back.
Legacy: Lands, Deathblade, Death and Taxes, Elves, MUD
Retired Legacy: Merfolk, Goblins, Jund, Delver, Reanimator
Legion's Initiative goes pretty well with Perilous Vault. Crack the initiative, then crack the vault, you get all your creatures back the next turn. Sudden Disappearance is even more powerful, but good luck getting 10W to pull it off. Day of the Dragons has decent synergy with it... when you crack the vault, you still get back whatever you exiled to power the Dragons while your opponent loses everything. Misthollow Griffin is pretty sweet.
