couldn't you just put up a spoiler, but just not put it into the headbar?
The link could be posted in the rumor mill, and a sticky thread in the mtgo section of the forum.
The thing about spoilers is that we have to add cards individually with all the information. So for each card, we have to add the name, set, color, mana cost, type, subtype, rarity, abilities, flavor text, collector's number, artist, power/toughness. Each of these cards is already in our database, so adding them again would be a waste of time and effort.
Spoilers are actually a lot of work. Since we already have images for each card, this is really the easiest way to do it. As far as I'd be willing to put my fellow mods through is creating a visual spoiler in the thread. That amounts to what would look like this:

Now this is just the maximum that the set can be worth as long as it is in print. However, no set reaches this theoretical maximum ever. If we allow for that the prices might be something like $100 for the average piece of power, $10 for Mythics, $1.50 for Rares, and 10c for the best Uncommons.
Rarity levels are pretty screwed, considering stuff like FoW and Duals are printed at rare, while Skullclamp is a Mythic.
Skullclamp is on a must-answer-immediatelly level of good, particularly in a limited environment. It just wins games almost on its own.
It was an uncommon in a format loaded with artifact hate and it was still broken. This was a smart move.

One of these day I have to get myself organizized.
Has wizards mentioned anywhere how long this will be available? I remember the old masters editions being available for 2 or 3 months, modern masters was shorter, hopefully they go with a longer period of time.
Seems its going to be available till at least Khans of Tarkir hits. here's the link:
Judging by WotC's tweet of 7 hours ago, expect the whole spoiler today.
Judging by subsequent tweets, the full spoiler is expected Friday.
Yeah I misinterpreted their tweet. What came after my last post was the visual spoiler getting redone a bit to include more of the actual VM images (rather than the paper cards they come from). I don't believe there's any new rarity info.
Oh, hey! Thanks for pointing that out! Unfortunately some of the images *still* aren't working right, but we do gain a little new info:
Control Magic now confirmed as rare.
Necropotence now confirmed as rare (not mythic!).
Yawgmoth's Will now confirmed as mythic.
Goblin Warchief now confirmed as uncommon.
Orcish Lumberjack now confirmed as common.
Prophetic Bolt now confirmed as uncommon.
City in a Bottle now confirmed as mythic. (I expected just rare...)
EDIT:
Also, Counterspell is now in the CIG (bad image so unknown rarity). We don't have that listed at the moment.
That still leaves a bit, but we got a few more.
(Also, minor note -- we have Yawgmoth's Will and Yawgmoth's Bargain out of alphabetical order, and it's a little confusing.)
I really hope Wasteland is in here, along side Force of Will it would really make Legacy much easier to get into (and then hopefully even more popular online).

Yeah I got that email too. It is unexpectedly a mythic.
Edit: This is now enough mythics to conclusively rule out Revised dual lands at mythic (not that anyone expected it). Therefore they are definitely rare (unless anyone thinks there is any prospect at all of them having been shifted downward; I think this is about as likely as M15 having Jace the Mind Sculptor at uncommon)
No Wasteland, no Rishadan Port, no Show and Tell, no Sneak Attack, no City of Traitors. Wow. I was planning to draft this set until my eyes bled, but now I'm a bit less sure. I know that we get the duals and Force of Will at rare, in addition to a lot of other money cards, but still, it seems like they missed out BIG TIME on some key cards. I mean, it's not like they can reprint any of these cards elsewhere, like they did with Mutavault, Thoughtseize and potentially Chord of Calling.
The big problem is that Port and Wasteland are already ~$100 cards, and the fact that they're NOT in VMA is just going to shove those prices up even further. Same being true with the other cards mentioned. So as a new Vintage/Legacy player it's great that we can save on duals, Force of Will, shops, etc., but now who knows what we'll be paying for other utility.
If tog is uncommon I'm not drafting this. gush, upheaval, force, jace, clamp, fluster, fof, anal, backing him up? Every draft is gonna come down to who got a tog.
I'm disappointed about wasteland not being in but this set has a lot of value to it already. I had to pick up a set as I play to play workshops which I already play unproxied in vintage and would love to play more online.
I think we will see a release of these cards soon enough.

Are you saying that you hope this is in, or that it is in? If the latter, could you give some sort of source?
Because it is not Modern legal.
Same as Skullclamp (and I would not be surprised to see Umezawa's Jitte and Golgari Grave-Troll).

Wasteland and Port missing checking other key cards.
Edit: No Submerge either. Nature's Ruin does indeed join Virtue's Ruin. No Gaea's Cradle. No Show and Tell.
Virtue's Ruin is not in Vintage Masters. Nature's Ruin was the one that was already known.
Wait, what? I was certain I had seen it.
