Modern event deck numbers aren't as low as I thought but not really high either. If you have an advance store in your area and they buy a lot of magic they will probably end up with 40-60 event decks.
Conspiracy about 75-90 booster boxes.
If you have an advanced store you should be getting around those numbers if you have a good supplier.
If you have a really small store in your area they probably won't get more then a case of conspiracy and a box of 4 modern event decks

I think we are talking about apples and oranges here. From what I understand, you can get some product direct from WotC, and any additional product you have to get from a distributor. Where the question lies is what the distributor decides to allocate to the stores and what they charge for the product. That will be determined by what is in the product obviously.
My guess is that WotC learned from the Commander 2013 debacle not to put a $50 card in a $30 MSRP deck. I really doubt that there will be a high end card in the Modern Event Deck, and as far as CNS is concerned I also think that there won't be any high-dollar reprints in the set. Sure, there will be a couple of good cards, but nothing that will make it worthwhile to buy a box, crack all of the packs, and sell one or two cards to recoup the box price.
My numbers are conforming to the original poster's, and I run a large and reasonably well-connected advanced store. Yes, Wizards is limiting advanced stores to a display of event decks, and three cases of Conspiracy, but Wizards isn't the only outlet for this stuff. Stores can still order more from ACD, Alliance, GTS, PHD, Southern, etc.
Oh, and most distributors don't mark up brand new product based on scarcity or contents. Those are scummy retailer tactics. Hell, several distributors have already made their allocations known to their retailers (not all of them, though).
Information I got from numerous distributors was this. For Modern event decks stores can get 1 display from WoTC (4 decks). You may also buy some from distributors which will be heavily allocated. Pretty much most of them are doing it where if you did not order your prerelease through them then you cant order any. The one we did our prerelease through said it will be very low, probably around the same number as WoTC. We are Advanced level and now Advanced Plus and move tons of Magic . Very low numbers. Not sure on Conspiracy yet
Conspiracy is not a limited product. It will be printed to demand. That has been confirmed and gives credibility to the OP in case people are in doubt.
We just got our numbers for Conspiracy and it was pretty close to our numbers for Modern Masters. Smaller stores will most likely be getting 12-36 boxes and the larger stores that get bigger allocations from their distributors anywhere from 64-500 boxes. We'll be getting a decent chunk of boxes for the initial release. It looks like Conspiracy boxes are currently going for about $135 on eBay; we'll sell 'em around $110 on our site. I'm sure that it'll be like Modern Masters where the price is right around MSRP up until the launch, and when the supply starts to dwindle we may see these boxes go for around $200.

That doesn't make sense. Conspiracy will be printed to demand, as has been quoted in numerous threads on this. Additionally, this is not a jacked-up MSRP. If you're selling boxes for more than $100, that's kinda gouging.

Same here in europe - as an Advance Store you are able to buy a Maximum of 8 modern Decks and 18 displays of Conspiracy from the distributor where you order your prerelease stuff and nothing from other distributors. When someone said that he will get 60 modern decks and 90 Displays Conspiracy that this is not true, or a wish or he has very special connections...I can not believe this...

MSRP on this product is $143.64. How is anything lower than that amount price gouging?
Sorry, I've just never been to any LGS that's ever charged me more than $100 on a box of product, and I buy min. 2 of every expansion since I don't remember when. If you're charging the full 3.99 x 36, then sure, that's fair, I guess, just not a place I'd shop. My mistake, however, calling it gouging, I genuinely thought every retailer did this, I've never seen it any other way.

I would say that's true in regards to a normal set (our standard price on a new set of MTG is $89.99), but this product is not a normal expansion, and allocations for stores are far stricter for this product than a normal set. To give an example, we are getting roughly 40-50% of this product compared to a normal set release. I'm not saying that this set is going to be extremely limited, but it's looking like it will be far more limited than a normal set of Magic, hence the slightly higher prices on boxes.
Whenever I hear about very low supplies I think back to Modern Masters: according to what I was reading here you had to run to the store the very day it was coming out for a chance to draft it. What happened in reality was that heaps if people bought boxes, modern masters drafts went on months and thy stil have some of it laying around in the shop....

And this is the overarching problem I really hope WotC addresses in the very near future. MMA was so stupidly limited to err on the side of caution, they actually drove up the prices of the cards they were increasing the supply of. Side effect: Retailers hear the word 'more limited than regular expansion' and are immediately gunshy and raise prices, speculating, hoarding, and create an artificial increase. That's not on you, that's on them for handling MMA so badly.

Your initial allocation will be less thana normal run. For sure. But it is not the only run.

my LGS is only able to get 6 boxes of Conspiracy on his initial order, which means they won't be selling packs or boxes at all, allocating it all to drafts. Been planning on buying 2 boxes of this set for a while now, not sure what to do now. :/
