This set, this *block* rather really pulled it's punches in terms of raw power. If this is a practice WoTC will keep going forward then it will be welcomed. If they decide to power creep M15 and the next block, then it was a shame to sit through this whole block hoping for some real solid cards. JOU was better than BoG and largely Theros as well, but a poor set to end on. Oh well.
I just have to say Constellation and Strive are terrible mechanics, attached to mainly terrible limited cards. (not that they're bad in limited but I'm really getting tired of this top-down design for limited).
Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
Melek, Izzet Paragon

Revel of the fallen god looks very underwhelming, considering a simple bile blight or drown in sorrow can wipe all the satyrs out. But it shows what happened to the followers of Xengaos that I didn't care about.
This set rocks, doubly so compared with Born of the Gods. Ethan Fleischer knocked it out of the park. Great flavor too. This is my favorite small set since New Phyrexia, and I can't wait to draft with it.

On first glance it looks like White and Black are going to be the two top colors until rotation (they pretty much are right now, but this just cements it). Overall set looks better than BotG, even the limited fodder at least feels like they were trying to do something interesting with the new mechanics instead of a hundred, "Put a +1/+1 counter on this creature" cards. Still dissapointed with a weaker overall block, but hopefully in the coming years the power curve will start climbing back up.

The more I think about this card, the more I think it's some sort of twisted flavor joke. Xenagos died and his followers feel bad, so you will share in that pain as a player when you open this as your pack rare!
There's a card called Hubris? Well, I got everything I needed from this set.
Seconded. As soon as I saw it all I could think was, 'Oh, the hubris!'
Overall the set looks quite good.
@Valanarch: You got at least one more Modern playable spell in Reprisal.
It all depends on what you consider good, but I can deal with it. Unlike BNG, this has a reasonable power-level, decent enchantment support, and some interesting cards. I still wish that we could have gotten some more playable enchantment support and a cantrip, Foresee, Condescend, or a land ramp aura. But such is life.
Yea had a feeling my counting skills left something to be desired, but overall I'm kind of dissapointed. On one hand, I'm happy they made more 3 mana gods, but on the other hand, pharika is nearly unplayable along with sage, and the black mythic and the equipment. I would be a lot less angry about the weakness of the set if LSV had actually spoiled a good card, and not some mediocre mono-red sideboard *****.
Well, it was definitely better than the previous two, but all in all, still a somewhat mediocre set. It didn't provide the same level of salvation that New Phyrexia gave to the Scars block.
Having said that, though, Strength from the Fallen is the card that caught my eye the post amongst the cards that we hadn't yet seen.

Is the U/R chimera or U/G cockatrice playable at all? I feel like if the chimera had increased toughness with its ability as well it might well have been the best 4 drop I have seen in the color.

Bring back Transmute as a U/B mechanic and take your mill back to the depths of hell where it came from!

Bad news: Where are the good green cards? Where are the good red cards? Where are the good blue cards?

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
