This has some uses, I'm sure this will win a TON of limited games.
I would have prefered it cost 4 and be symmetrical though, that would have been an instant standard staple, or at least an INCREDIBLE sideboard card (would be an auto-include sideboard in eternal formats too)
I like it quie a bit. It probably isn't the best thing for a White Weenie build but it could go into an Eidolon of Blossoms deck. It seems like it would work there because then you could run a decent number of Utiliy Creature Enchantments that aren't that aggressive by themselves but with support of the Dictate or the new Ajani they would be able to put on pressure. If White get a good Constellation card at 2 or 3 mana I will be so happy.

I am going to have a serious love/hate relationship with this card. I suspect it'll win and lose me a lot of Limited games. Boon Satyr was already a total blowout most times, this... It is unseemly. Much like.
While I think it's only okay. The moment I put my eyes on it something came to my mind. The art. It is simply beautiful and made me remember some of the art I enjoyed when I started playing magic. Without even looking to confirm I was sure that such incredible work could only come from someone as talented as Terese Nielsen.
Why is it only your creatures? I thought the cycle was all about giving the effect to anyone on the battlefield. At least thats what the other cards do

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?
Why are people saying this card isn't good enough for constructed? Honestly, it's kinda bonkers. Yeah, most decks that would want an anthem effect won't want this to have flash, a lot of decks probably wouldn't want it at all. But there's a wealth of good creatures with flash in standard that you would want to leave mana open for. And this card has soooo many options for combat tricks and mind games. Lets say an opponent doesn't block your creatures, BAM! You just dealt what, like 6 more damage? They declare attackers or blockers and think its going to be profitable, there will be times this could be an instant-speed one-sided wrath. And the pump stays behind for when you swing next turn. This thing will win games, and not just in limited. Bant Flash could be a deck. This+ Boon Saytr+ Shambleshark+ 3/3 instant centaur+ Syelesnya Charm and that's basically a deck right there. Don't be so quick to put down this card.

so if i am that player do i get to sleep with his girlfriend ?
It's a 5 cmc card that works best in a deck full of creatures, and decks full of creatures generally don't want to curve up to 5 cmc.
Examples:
Let's say you try to shove this in a midrange/ramp-ish deck. Maybe Elvish Mystic followed by Loxodon Smiter followed by Polukranos. Not a terrible way to curve out - but here's what happens next:
Against:
Mono-black: Doom Blade takes one creature and Desecration Demon either kills the Mystic or trades with the Smiter. Or perhaps thoughtseize or lifebane zombie removes polukranos before you have a chance to cast it. Either way - 5 mana needs to do more than give one creature a +2/+2.
Any aggro deck: You're playing midrange, you should win this matchup whether you play this dictate or not, and you'd probably be better off with armada wurms.
Control: Similar to mono-black. It doesn't necessarily play out exactly the same but the result will be similar more often than not - you're imagining giving a bunch of creatures +2/+2 but you're actually probably giving the boost to 1 or 2 creatures at most, most of the time.
This card needs a higher creature count on the board and it needs to get them going earlier, but that means you're playing an aggro deck and you're probably curving out at 3 cmc for the most part. Adding enough lands to reliably cast a 5 cmc anthem is going to dilute your aggro.
There might be a narrow range of midrange strats that lean toward aggro more than ramp, but that's not clear yet and I think it would require more cards that we haven't seen yet.
Mono white aggro could, with Nykthos "curve out" at 5 on turn 4 pretty reliably.
If you go:
1-Plains, Soldier of the Pantheon
2-Plains, Precinct Captain
3-Plains, Brimaz
4-Nykthos, swing, flash dictate for the lolz.
Admittedly that's a pretty cherry picked hand, and assumes not a lot of removal, but there's not a lot better plays you make on turn 4 there, and if you play spear of heliod on turn 3 you're a lot slower.

but still very usable.
It should work well in the Rhys the Redeemed deck I'm putting together.
