Color me legitimately excited now. If Forbidden is what they've got in here, and it means what we think it means or something similar, we may be about to see some Vintage-level powered cards (that are not just hate cards, utility bears, or riffs on counterspell (welcome though those are)). As a Vintage player, that would be such an amazing thing for the format.
This is what I am not excited about, actually. I love reprints, and I love them trying new things, but I've never been a fan of their "Made for commander only" cards, and the idea of SIXTY-FIVE of them? Oi. Oi. Oi.
In draft, you can play as many copies of a given card as you drafted. If you draft 24 Loyal Pegasus, you can play a perfectly legal Loyal Pegasus/Plains deck. So a Relentless Rats type ability is unlikely to show up in a set designed to be drafted.
As long as Dack Fayden gets a planeswalker card and isn't so amazing that its price becomes outrageous I'll be happy. These IDW promos need more company.
I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere, but why is the box split like that? Does each side have the same kind of packs or are they divided in some way for use by each team? Like faction packs or whatever?
Okay, don't jump all over me but... Contraptions? (I guess I should post this in speculation, b it half this thread is speculation anyway)
What if assembling a contraption means putting an artifact (probably without a mana cost) from your sideboard into play? That would also change how you build your deck, like the tagline says.

They are meant to be drafted ( 24 packs)
and then after we have drafted we split into teams.
I think its more of the feeling that since before the game we are in a Conspiracy
