Yeah, this is a pretty solid critter for Limited. Evasion and card advantage work very well together, after all.
Not super Standard playable, but one never knows. Liliana's Spectre saw play at some point while it was in Standard, so this has a chance (albeit a small one).
Anyway Triton + Siren + Archanist is U: mill 1 + opponent discard 1 -> not bad of an effect but still cards, easily disruptable and does not kill on the spot. Also each card is bad.
If I was going for 3 card combo in this format it would for sure be Reckoner + Azorius Charm + Boros Charm. At least every card is kinda good on its own.
But combo with Triton Tactics might work in Phenax, dec
Ah, totally missed that Springleaf Drum wasn't equipped.
Yeah, I think the best bet is Voyaging Satyr, Verdant Haven, Elite Archanist+Triton Tactics with Phenax.
Alternate untaps generating mana for Tactics and tapping for mill. Definitely not competitive given the cards are not good in a vacuum...
How about, if you're looking for combo, just the really good (not perfect) lock that was mentioned before:
Untap Siren during your opponent's draw phase when they are drawing with an empty hand. Anything that's not an instant is going in the graveyard.
I mean, that's practically just Kiora's Follower + Siren of Silent Song if they have no fliers on board. Or Kiora's Follower + Siren, with either Springleaf Drum or Phenax if they do have a flier ready to block. I mean, it's not game over, but it's pretty close if the board states are similar.
Here's what i keep thinking of, need a mana goon 1 drop if not I can't see playing this over a wall of frost
T1: ???
T2: Siren of Silent Song
T3: Wall of Frost
T4: Ral Zarek (don't think anyone's mentioned him but his +1 is very good in combination with inspired and Phenax and his ult is an easy win)
T5: [CARD]Phenax, God of Deception
[/CARD]
Thats 7 devotion so you'll be milling 22 a turn

Thoughts?
Sure, if you can pull it off consistently. Problem is that you need too many different cards to get to T5, and what happens if you don't draw the wall and Ral?

I don't think Ral isn't needed T4 so I think it'd be OK running 2 or 3 of him in a deck and using that turn for another wall or control card. Just running ideas here

1 thoughness dies to so much in Limited, its good if you can connect, but in the end it means you win a game were the opponent cant protect itself against a 1 thoughness flyer (either by blocker, removal, or anything).
Sweet! a card I had never noticed before works better than freed from the real and an added tap ability like quicksilver dagger. If there were no removal in this game, that would be a cool combo lolol

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Turn 1 or 2, two Lands and a Springleaf Drum and anything else you want
Turn 3, Land, Siren of Silent Song (and any 1 drop, if desired, tapping the Siren to get its effect right away) Turn 4, Tap Siren with Springleaf Drum, cast Hidden Strings (either untapping Springleaf Drum and Siren, or else tapping any flying blockers they have and untapping Siren), cipher onto Siren, attack and connect with Siren, trigger Hidden Strings (untapping either your one tapped land, if you didn't have to tap a blocker, or Springleaf Drum if you did, and Siren).
Now, in your second Main Phase on Turn 4, you have an untapped Siren, an untapped Springleaf Drum, at least 2 untapped lands (possibly as many as 4, depending on whether or not you played a land Turn 4 and whether or not you had to tap a blocker), and you've gotten 3 Siren triggers already (and are primed for a 4th at your next untap step by tapping Siren with Drum again). That only uses 3 lands and 3 cards by turn 4, hardly a god hand, but that should have wiped out your opponent's hand.

Goldfishing (the cards in hand depend on whether you are on the draw or play):
Turn 1: Land, Springleaf Drum (5/6 cards in hand)
Turn 2: Land, Duskmantle Guildmage, tap Guildmage and Drum for a second Springleaf Drum (3/4 cards in hand)
Turn 3: Land, Siren of Silent Song, keep mana up for something? Tap Siren at some point. (2/3 cards in hand) TURN 4: Untap Siren, ability goes on stack at the beginning of Upkeep. In response, tap Siren with Drum and two lands to activate Guildmage. Opponent discards and mills (-2 life). Play land, cast Hidden Strings with two lands, untapping Siren (ability triggers, -4 life total) and a land, and encode Hidden Strings on the Siren. Tap two lands and Guildmage with the second Drum to activate Guildmage again. Attack with Siren, connect (-6 life total), Hidden Strings triggers, untap Siren (ability triggers, -10 life total) and Drum. Tap Siren and Drum for Triton Tactics, untapping Siren (ability triggers, -14 life total) and Guildmage. End turn. (0/1 card in hand)
EDIT: A Tome Scour instead of Triton Tactics actually does ten damage there and ends the game, but Tome Scour is pretty useless otherwise, so I wouldn't want it in the deck.
I think the better deck probably won't run Guildmage, but those other cards are fine for a UB Heroic/Cipher deck with Pain Seer, Agent of the Fates, Thoughtseize, and some combination of removal and counters.
Doesn't this work?
Siren of Silent Song + Elite Archanist with Triton Tactics exiled +Springleaf Drum
Playable in Standard... Fairly easy to get going on turn 3.... What am I missing?

Depends. With Hidden Strings and/or Springleaf Drum this guy could cause a lot of headaches. A lot of synergy with Phenax as well.
I like her a lot since she hits both the opponent's hand and deck.

Mills two cards per turn.
Synergy with Phenax.
She has better synergy with Thassa, dealing two damage out of 20 and causing discard, while still milling their scry 1.

T2: Sylvan Caryatid
T3: Elite Arcanist with Triton Tactic's Exiled
T4: Siren of Silent Song OR Ashiok's Adept with Karametra's Favor attached.
T5: Either kill or mill opponent.
Note: If you have an extra Triton's Tactic you could untap the Caryatid and put Messenger's Haste on the Siren for a T4 win.
Yes, this combo suffers from crap cards syndrome so is not viable. But it's nasty fun.
