At the beginning of your upkeep, return target creature from your graveyard to your hand
I'm hoping it's more Minotaur tribal oriented, but that's because I'm a big tribal fan.
What I really am worried about is another round of cookie-cutter variations where it is essentially one card in five flavors. I hope Mogis and Xenagos, and heck, all of them, really stand out and are playable in constructed formats.

I have a hard time thinking the gods would be tribal oriented, but I do hope we will get more tribal support, especially for minotaurs
Hmm...the second picture could depict Phenax as well as Athreos.
Arguments for Phenax:
Athreos is the Ferryman of the Dead and thereby should reside in the Underworld or at last at the entrance. I'm pretty sure that there shouldn't be moon in the Underworld.
Athreos is supposed to be a ferryman and I can't see any boat....
Arguments for Athreos:
Phenax is the god of secrecy, stealth and illusion. Nothing of the three traits is found in the artwork (imho).
The depicted god looks like a badass version of a Returned. It is stated in a Planeswalker guide to Theros: Part 3 that the masks of the dead are created to frame the dead for Athreos. So it would only be fitting for him, to wear a mask himself.
The whole artwork screams BW to me. The well-lit, eeri landscape, which reminds me so much of Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
BU artworks unsally have a much more sinister touch often accompanied by a blueish glow or fog.
English isn't my fist language, so please excuse any misspellings and grammar mistakes.
The blue sash around his waist and the card returned phalanx from theros give him away as UB
@Stibbons: It doesn't make any sense for Athreos to wear a golden Returned mask. The Returned are those who have escaped the underworld; Athreos is the god who guides them into the underworld. The Returned undo the work that Athreos does. Athreos wouldn't associate him/herself with them. It makes more sense for Phenax, the blue-black god, to support them. The Returned are fighting against their fates by refusing to stay dead, they are ignoring destiny and choosing to find a way to reclaim their lives. Blue and black are the colors that are most opposed to the idea of destiny (as enemies of the color green).
I'm wondering what their abilities will be. I heard they don't have activated abilities but instead only static abilities or triggered abilities. Here's to them hopefully being playable!
Why would that be the case? Each of the first five deities has both a continuous ability and an activated ability, so why would the next five/ten not have both, as well?

I'm guessing the reason is to help distinguish the minor gods from the major ones, and possibly because the minor gods have less space in their text boxes after their devotion text.
I do not even care if they end up being suck-y cards but got dam these second wave of pantheon arts! (And is it me, or they are almost better than the art of the major ones even?)

She just has her bangs falling over her eyes, this one has ropes or chords wrapped around their head and neck.
And now that you mention it, that figure is also holding the top of a stick---the ferryman's oar?

that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur
The minors may not get weapons or activated abilities, but they're getting better art by the looks of it. Very strong work by the artists. Although Ephara isn't enormously exciting.
The creature lying around Karametra's feet reminds me of a gigantic version of that squirrel-cat-thing from Nausicaa.

There you go. Shows what I know.

Since Erebos is there too, maybe
