The new cardframe will probably grow on me, like it did when 8th Edition/Mirrodin changed it as well. That holo sticker does seem a bit tacky, though, but I'll have to wait until I see one IRL before passing judgment.
Also, I'm wondering what "clash packs" are - something similar to booster battle packs, maybe?
Surely if organised crime gets into counterfeiting Magic cards, they will be producing fake Tarmogoyfs, Wastelands and Revised duals (and other cards of comparable value, not the $500+ cards that people inspect with a jeweller's loupe prior to buying) rather than whatever next year's Domri Rade/Mutavault chase cards are.
It gets easier and easier to counterfeit cards every year. If you're already counterfeiting Goyfs and such, it would only make sense to counterfeit whatever the current Standard chase rares are. This change does make sense as a way to head that off.
Like the decreased border. More room for text and art is a big plus.
Holofoil stamp at the bottom is fine, but not so much a fan of how it intrudes on the bottom of the frame for rares with lots of text, such as Waste Not. Seems like they'll be shooting themselves in the foot a bit when it comes to the size increases. I'm ok with the black bottom though.
Reserving judgement on the font until I see the whole thing. I like the effort, but I feel only using it for the title, while prudent, makes the card feel a bit off. We'll see.
There's going to be the usual vocal internet minority whom will have a knee-jerk reaction an lash out about the slight card frame change, but in all honesty it makes perfect sense. Counterfeits have become an issue in the past couple years as print technology becomes available to the wider masses. When I played the Dragonball Z card game for a while, that company did something similar for it's rares and ultra rares and it didn't really detract from the rest of the card.
I've got to be honest, I'm not particularly amused at how they admitted all the mistakes they made that upset people (Modern Masters being so limited, M14 Slivers changing the sliver mechanic, True Name Nemesis being so limited, Magic Online and all its issues) and then immediately proceed to just write them off as successes, essentially saying they have no desire to actually do anything to fix these presently existing problems and instead that they'll get it right next time. I mean, I'm all for rebalancing Commander decks in future releases, but it doesn't do anything to help Legacy with TNN either now or then. It's just as irritating as when someone "apologizes" by saying "I'm sorry you're upset" rather than taking any responsibility for the situation.
You need to check your entitlement at the door and quit taking yourself so seriously.
Font & Holofoil stamp: not much difference either way, so sure, go for it.
Decreased border size: I like it. I mean, it looks different, so it'll probably take a little getting used to, but I heartily approve of larger art and text boxes.
All-black lower border: Objectively, it's no worse than the current design, just different. On an irrational level, I'm finding it a little off-putting just because of that human aversion to changes in familiar things. But that will fade with time, and I'm sure a year from now I won't care one bit about it.
No Born of the Gods spoilers tonight? I thought tonight was the beginning of spoiler season.
Maro tweeted that next monday starts BtG spoilers week.
I'm disappointed with the new card frame. I would have preferred them coming up with a smaller font so they could make the borders more like the original cards

You could read it as some magic devs trying to sneak in a bit of honesty when corporate doesn't want them to do anything but portray everything in a pure light. In that case yeah, it would still be nice if corporate didn't have such asinine policies, but I haven't seen harsh self-criticism being much of a thing on the mothership, and MaRo's review criticisms always come across strangely for I guess similar reasons.

You know how they always say you should print $10's and $20's if you're counterfeiting rather than $100's. It's a lot easier to unload 500 Mutavaults than 500 Goyfs without someone noticing.
Plus don't forget 5 years from now today's $30 card could be tomorrow's goyf.
The OCD in me dislikes the non uniform border as well, but the stamp doesn't bother me.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
I don't know. I like the new font, I like the added space and info, but the straight black bottom annoys me. I know it's for legibility, but to me it seems to just cut the card short.
Looks excellent. Reading the collector's numbers on the bottom was always a challenge, especially on green, red and black cards. Changes are excellent!
I cant believe people are *****ing about the new card frame already.
Seriously, you gonna still buy the damn cards anyways. Yes, it looks a bit off, but after a set it will be just fine.
The new text is pretty interesting, I kind of like it.
I don't see much *****ing yet.
A little groaning, maybe, but that's hardly to be unexpected. Most people in the thread seem to be on the "Meh, prefer the current frames but oh-well". It's a bit of groaning is all.
The border change is fine by me, not seeing a big issue. I like the new text font, actually, and the holo-stamp bother me not in the least. It's actually sensical-every once in a while you get somebody wondering if a given high-cost card is real or not. From here on out, it'll be readily apparent. Increased border frame is fine as well; the only people that will be affected are those doing 3D alters, but that won't be difficult to adapt to. The collector's number will be a nice additional feature a well.
That said, the one change that actually does bother me a bit is the "Designed by" part. It's groan-worthy, and eye-roll inducing gratuitous self acknowledgement. The fact that they have to try to convince us that it is at all necessary, cool, or what-have by say "Trust us, it's cool!" is telling.
Look, we all know that the designers and developers are faceless to the most of us; putting it on the cards is just annoying and out of place. If they really wanted to say who designed a card, they should put an article up about it and often. The text is meaningless to the game, but important to the flavor types.
Not saying it's going to make me quit the game, just that it's going to make my eyes roll every time I see it. It's pointless gratuitous self back-patting.
They didn't admit that Modern Masters was too limited. However, them saying that they are probably going to make more products like it in the future is good.
They should have apologized for Cipher in Gatecrash, but otherwise the set was reasonable.
I don't get how they are listing Dragon's Maze as a success.
I'm glad that they apologized for the Slivers, but I would list the lack of dual lands in M14 as a failure.
I still wouldn't say that Devotion being a format-defining mechanic is a good thing. It invalidates a lot of the RTR Block cards and I think it is boring. But Theros was a success for the most part.
Commander 2013 was a success, and I am glad that they are going to stop making certain decks much more valuable than others.
They are right about how they should have done more for the 20th anniversary.
The usual MTGO promise is disappointing. "Yes, we know that we screwed up, but it will get better." I don't have faith in that promise anymore.
Waste Not is in M15!
I don't get why they changed the border. It was better when it was symmetrical. I'll get used to the font change, but the stamp is ridiculous. I get the stopping counterfeiting argument, but saying that it makes rares and mythic rares fell more special is just stupid. That's what the gold or red rarity symbols are for. The collector info is nice, but I don't know why they have to list the language of the card on the card. The addition of designer credit instead of flavor text sucks. It makes the card look horrible and removes what could have been cool flavor. I don't care who made the card. Just let me play it.
I don't really care about the Wall of Fire reprint.
I found this little bit to be a shame. No more cards secretly making it into other sets.
Making the bottom of each card black to accommodate this information was not an easy decision, and may be the most disconcerting part of this frame update, but it was done with the best of intentions. This information is machine-readable by recognition software at our production plants. It will help eliminate the rare packaging error, like cards sneaking into the wrong expansion's boosters.

The holofoil stamp I dislike and will likely be unhappy about, but it's a necessary change to fight counterfeits, so whatever.
The text is fine, the frame thinning is fine, the collector's number thing is neat.
God Waste Not's flavor text is ABYSMALLY stupid. The hinted at thing that involves similar flavor text on other cards in M15 better be amazing.
Radha, Heir to Keld, Vorel of the Hull Clade, Kemba, Kha Regent, Vela the Night-Clad, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Barrin, Master Wizard, Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer, Patron of the Orochi, Oloro, Ageless Ascetic, Thraximundar, Roon of the Hidden Realm, Prossh, Skyraider of Kher, Marath, Will of the Wild, Teneb, the Harvester
If you did this, tell me and I'll credit you!
I think more formats ruin what we do have.

What cards have an interesting enough designer to be worth noting on the card?
Magic Invitational cards.
Might we see Dark Confidant, Meddling Mage, Sylvan Safekeeper et al in M15?
