Now that I think about it, Wizards putting 1 Remand instead of 2 actually makes a lot of sense. If there were 2 Remands in there, then the hoarders will just grab all of them and the rest of us will not be able to get one.
Anyone tried doing Vraska and the Golgari vs Jace and the Izzet? (i.e. putting the two duel decks together?) Sounds like fun. I have both, so once I've played enough of JvV, I'll try it out, probably adding some more dual land for the Jace / Izzet side.
True. Let me rephrase that. Jace’s deck has a few cards which care about stuff in the opponent’s graveyard. No wonder Vraska’s deck doesn’t use the graveyard as a resource.
Send it to wizards you will pay a litle more but they will sent it back with some boosters.

Sounds like an easy scam. Buy two Duel Decks, send in two Vraska claiming they're from the same deck, get two Jace back for four Jace total.
I don't think it would work this way, why are you sending in two Vraskas and expecting two Jaces? In a correct box you get one of each. WOTC would send back one of each. You come out ahead one Jace and give up one Vraska. I guess that's worth the hassle to some losers, but it still costs $40 for two boxes plus tax if applicable plus shipping to wotc plus waiting a month for the replacement product.
I hope wotc logs returns, like a lot of retail stores, and cuts off scammers who take advantage of their return policy.

Last year some people claiming that they had fail to find some card in they comander2013 pre com but not everyone got to get back what they wanted
Heck my friend got a box with only oversided generals cards and after asking got back a normal deck.
Sorry for the poor english i m on the cell phone and is quite frustating to corect my post
I've seen you guys mentioning tokens, are the assassin tokens the only ones in the pack? Do they have the Duel Deck symbol? Sorry for the questio but I do collect tokens and I'm not wanting to buy the product tks
They are the only ones 3 assassin tokens. they have the duel deck symbol and a normal magic card back.

Well I’ve played this something like 8 times now and I hate it. Jace beat Vraska 6 out of 8 games, but it’s all extremely grindy and attritional. Hell, time would have been called long before I completed some of these rounds. One round went on for a shocking TWENTY turns! Jace has supreme card advantage, but neither of the decks were fun to play — not until you get Future Sight going in Jace’s deck. Then it’s fun.
Jace has barely any counterspells, and most of them expensive and situational. Vraska’s deck has pretty near bugger all in the way of removal, so there are plenty of missed opportunities. Most cards are a one–off (I suppose that’s the nature of Duel Decks) so it feels more like playing Commander rather than a tightly honed deck.
Also, why does Jace impinge on Golgari territory so much? He has quite a bit of access to the graveyard, whereas Vraska has one card (Treasured Find).
All in all, this is the first Duel Deck I’ve not really enjoyed, though I prefer Jace’s deck more — and that’s only with things like Future Sight and Superman himself.
I don’t hate Jace. Well… as a card with abilities. As a person with feelings, etc. I despise the cowardly, selfish rat. But damn if he doesn’t get some sweet powers!
The thing is I have played all colours and combos, and will continue to do so (despite my allegiance to Golgari). I must ask if the creators of these decks have even played Blue?! Who the hell remands anything other than their own counterspells? I suspect WotC decided it was high time for it to get a reprint, and possibly some visual joke referencing the remanding of Hamlet in Modern.
I've played thirty or so games with these duel decks around 15 on each side and let me tell you what Vraska's deck Shi*ts all over jace's. All jace's deck is durdle durdle durdle. His counter spells aren't even counters which with decks such as these it is all about finding your haymakers anyway. I've only won 2 games with jace's deck and don't tell me its "Well you just don't know how to play it." That isn't the case. Jace's deck is just bad. What is this BS about card advantage? All of cantripping isn't card advantage when the initial spell doesn't do anything.

Would Dark Confidant still be good if he punched you in the face for 5 damage a turn?
Well as there is people saying about the game play that jace s deck is **** and other saying Vraska s deck is **** too i think we can say that they are balanced... sometimes you get a good hand and keeps drawning usefull cards and others (maybe more for some) you just draw what you don t want....
And i m with the ones saying vraska s deck is the best
Question for all the Vraska deck lovers: How often have you won using one of her tokens? I finally got a win in this way, but my opponent had terrible mana screw.
^ Never. I have, however, never built her up to that level since she invites too much hate. I tend to use her as a Vindicate and sometimes for her Deathtouch–like ability.
Honestly Vraska just feels like it doesn't interact and lacks removal or maybe it is just a bit too easy to play around deathtouch with the way jace can bounce things or fly over, IMO.
Really feels like vraska needed more of a dredge mechanic or something for card advantage, I can't help but wonder why didn't they get the guy who made the golgari decklist to make this one as well.
Well anyway I for one love Jace but we need less decks with him, we had pretty much two golgari products.
Here's to hoping for a Nissa vs golbin-walker so we can have elves vs goblins 2.0.

I don't have much experience playing these out of the box,
but I think the people saying it's biased in Jace's favor are correct-
I taught my wife to play last night, and she absolutely *destroyed* me,
despite my knowing every card she had
Jace saw almost every card in his deck while Vraska was desperately top decking lands
The amount of bounce and defense makes it ridiculously easy for Jace to -2 all day
(or build up to the Ultimate).

I really want to modify these decks to improve them (as I’m sure we all do with event decks, etc). For a start, throwing some cheapcounterspells into the mix.
Vraska’s deck needs a complete overhaul, methinks.
Played some seven games yesterday, the result was 5-2 Jace, but could be 4-3 very well.
My verdict is: average or slightly below average, on par with Garruk vs. Liliana.
My whole ranking of PW DDs: JvC = SvT >> AvNB > GvL = JvV > EvT >> VvK
Jace seems to have the upper hand, almost always. Too much counters, removal and bounce. Almost every creature in his deck means business. Vraska, on the other hand, has many subpar cards like Tavern Swindler or Slate Street Ruffian, that aren't quite what you would want for answers.
Jace's +1 can be insanely strong, building him up to the ultimate and crippling Vraska's rather weak creatures. Vraska's +1 does almost nothing - Jace would almost always want to beat the player. Also, with the early fast things like Phantasmal Bear or Krovikan Mist, Vraska's usually down some 5-9 life before she does anything. A single unanswered kicked Aether Figment steals the game, there's just too much means of protection for Jace. But the decks are still fun to play, compared to bland EvT or bad VvK.

What? No he doesn't. There are 4 mill cards in Jace's deck.

1x Crosstown Courier
1x Jace's Mindseeker
One of my two duel decks had this happen, as well. Was a nice surprise. Are these packing errors getting more common?
