Magic: The Gathering—Commander™ - Available November 1, 2013
Each of these new Commander offerings includes a 100-card preconstructed deck and three oversized, foil legendary commander cards (that also appear in the deck). The decks are filled with cards from throughout the history of Magic and also include...
15 new Magic cards in every deck!
The five new Commander decks each contain two brand new three- color legendary creatures and 13 other never-before-printed cards. There are 51 unique new cards spread across the five decks (some cards appear in multiple decks). These new cards will not only bring excitement to the Commander format but are also legal for use in Vintage and Legacy tournaments!
Looks less impressive than last year's but I like the sleek look. Rather annoying that they only creature one card as opposed to the trio of cards that are new.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.

I think they just showcase a single card to make the packaging more compact. It still comes with three foil legends.

I just meant it ways that usually we can speculate what the other two cards could be. But the way they show it like this they make us EDH people more thirsty lol

Hmm, the packaging colors imply that the "central" color of each shard isn't the primary color of the deck. Jeleva's deck would seem to be primary blue instead of primary black. Very curious.
Curious how they boxed them. The design looks nice, I just wish I could get a peek at the others... I'm sure they'll make some great cards and great new commanders, though I'm not overly-thrilled with the ETB w/"X equals amount of mana paid for this creature" ability that 5 of the new commanders are going to have. However, flavorwise, their decision to base at least two of these (and hopefully the rest of the new legends) in previously explored places like Nephalia and around Kher Keep is a fantastic idea. We haven't had a way to make Kobolds since Time Spiral after all.
A little under two months until these are out, UGGGHHHHH. I want these now, all 5 will be bought and maybe 5 more to stash for down the road pending the content !!!!!

This is a good point, makes me think all of the commanders will be referencing places of Magics past. Far and near.
This is actually kind of significant, because we didnt' know about the three legend thing before. We had no idea if they were sticking to the previous format.

"The five new Commander decks each contain two brand new three- color legendary creatures and 13 other never-before-printed cards."
This means the third cards are probably Crosis, Treyva, Rith, Darigaaz, and Dromar.
While slow I still thing my favorite budget fetch is Krosan verge, I wish they would make more of them.
Krosan Verge is budget nothing. It's a spectacular card and any deck that can run it, should.
My only complaint is that it's not part of a cycle (the dominant multicolored pair in Judgement was Selesnya, so that's why that exists. Also why Glittering Wish is the colors it is. It's a throwback.).

R Citizen Cane (Feldon of the Third Path)
I noticed that too and wonder if the colored boxes mean more cards of that color are in it?

No matter what, I'll probably be buying one of each. They'll be so mass produced this time you'll be able to get them for MSRP at retailers.
Reprint of Tarmogoyf and all onslaught fetchlands.
Tarmogoyf sucks rocks in EDH. It had better not be in one of these.
EDH and Legacy players: YESS!
Wizards: Alright we reprinted them! Bad River and Flood Plain
EDH and Legacy players: ....
There, fixed!
I want these decks right now. Show us the Bant and Esper generals!!

That's good news! I want more new legends!
EDIT: make that two things, since the ability can't be attached to the amount of mana spent to cast it. What good is flickering then?

Not definite, but it makes sense.
