Though if we're talking Nepalese, those Himalayas tend to be pretty snowy...
One thing we do know is the set is bottom-up design (MaRo mentioned that recently), so it won't be a top-down Chinese set or something like that.

that's not what happened at all. kamahl stabbed phage, akroma, and some old lady and they became korona. then korona got stabbed by her "prophets" and kamahl got drunk with a mutant centaur

For Planechase, the name sounds most similar to Kharasha Foothills.
It wont be on that plane. The name would be 'Warlords of Mongseng'. The first name of a set has the plane in it. So if this is for Magic the name of the plane is Khanar.
Barinellos
The first thought when the term "warlord" comes up is Sarkhan's home plane.
Could be. Expect to see 3-5 dragons on a world he left because they where hunted to absolute extinction. And with no loophole about one mad scientist dragon sole survivor cloning himself, just 'O hai Sarkhan. You've been gone a while. Remember how we killed all of the dragons you like so much, like the eggs and everything. Well for no explainable reason a handful are back. Its a if some powerful force wants the world to have dragons even after we go out of are way to kill every single one of them. Haha weird right."

I feel like people always argue this against users in really good standing. This has happened before, and we can probably be about 85% sure that this is the next fall expansion.
TK and Fnord would not be supporting this sentiment if they didnt believe it to be true. It makes sense, it follows a pattern, and its a spoiler type that WotC would want to avoid, but they cant due to the public record nature of the trademark. This sounds interesting, I could see generals (not in a commander sense but strong creatures) that are representatives of classic war heroes/generals/leaders representing their specific colors. Such as the mongols being red, and led by Genghis Khan. Or france being blue and being led by napoleon ( I know that usnt perfect, but thats he first thought that popped in my head)
Warlords immediately conjures up images of warbands running around on horses--this could be the set that introduces mounts?
We had horsemanship in Portal. It was like flying but different. I dont think we would want to do that, unless we have a mount type creature that is just like the creature enchants, except cannot be played as creatures alone, and need someone to attack with it once left alone. Or it could re equip? IDK how mounts would be done, but now that I'm thinking about it, it seems interesting.
It's apparently a real life city in Nepal. They've been known to use real life places sometimes like in Zendikar having the names of old Greek city states for certain creatures, without having a Greek theme.
But we might be visiting a central Asian theme block?

Sounds reasonable. I'm no expert on the subject, but Ashiok's clothing looks vaguely middle Asian to me and I'm led to believe that Ashiok is an Indian name. A Potential connection there could be interesting.
If it is Warlords followed by Conspiracy I fear-predict an Arthurian/Game of Thrones flavored plane.
Based on the Conspiracy trademark application, it's very likely that Conspiracy is next summer's supplemental product rather than the winter 2015 expansion.
Seems like a super odd name for an expansion. And with WotC alternating between returning to a plane then visiting a new one it seems suspect. I've heard rumors that next block is a return to zendikar (unconfirmed.)
Are you hearing them from reputable sources or bull**** speculation threads? I remember tons of people that convinced themselves that Kiora Atua would be in the last 4 sets.
So what from Theros indicates "Warlords"?
Warlords seems like Tribal, but there's so little in Theros comparatively...
Combat- and Fight-themed, hence Bestow and all the 'large' creatures in Theros?

Not strange at all:
Champions of Kamigawa.

Mounts, no. Banding, get in
Odyssey was a barbarian and dwarf block.
Looking up Khanar:

Not seeing Conspiracy as Set Two in the Khanar Block, though. I still maintain it's a variant format.

I don't know what I expected.
Wouldn't this be a more appropriate trailer for a set based on Tsarist Russia?

I wish but the name doesn't really suggest anything...
