Does that really work out? Do sleeves with good art really go up in price?
Unless it's REALLY popular I don't think so. Liliana of the Veil sleeves are $25 on eBay (granted it's from S. Korea) and I know SCG sold out of them every time.
I didn't mean it was a speculation piece, more that I love the art and want to be able to use it down the road.
Red should be burn, Goblins, Dragons, draw/discard, and Standard-unplayable 5CMC cards with insane, lengthy effects that take 10 minutes to figure out what they do and another 20 to actually make their effects work on the field.
Yea in this iteration, it seems she's being depicted as some sort of teenage rebel. That's the vibe I'm feeling; not the mature, charismatic and powerful Joan of Arc type of lady I was expecting her to be.
Elspeth IS a rebellious teen, she was all knightly in Bant because it was make-believe war, as soon as it got real she went away scared, got depressed and ended up pit-fighting in Urborg before Ajani pulled her out of it, then tried to be a hero again helping Koth, got scared again and ran, then came back when all was lost so Koth most proabably sacrificed himself helping her get away again and now she's in Theros not knowing what to do and still trying to get away from her hero's call from what was said at PAX.

She isn't a teenager. Refer to her as a crappy adult please.

For this new art, they put her on an anorexic diet, and focused on her waist by picturing her with the side of her waist in front of the camera. The downward sloping ''mini-skirt armour'' amplifies this effect. This makes her look a lot younger in conjunction with that, well, 'way' that the artist drew her face.
In fairness, there isn't a lot of food on New Phyrexia. Hell, even when it was Mirrodin, it wasn't overflowing with a bounty of snackables.
I feel this is because this art, unlike any of the other, focuses on her female curves as well. The first Elspeth, Knight Errant was a powerfully built lady with a lot of armour and a bigger waist as well. Elspeth Tirel kind of continued and made her look even more like the ''mom of all planeswalkers'' with the regent pose, long shadowy dress and heavy weapon.

They did the same anorexic thing to Chandra btw, in the digital version used to promote DotP. This elspeth is also digitally created, while for the Chandra card art they at least had the decency to make a normally drawn version.

I agree w/ Mowagh, a Hythonia art sleeve would have been awesome.
I love Ashioks art on the card, but in sleeve form it just looks like a mono black card, and not enough blue to it.
