Awesome Hydra! Should see some play.

Hydra is excellent, glad to see some pushback against heavy countermagic.

Its like gaea's revenge. But it plays better with kalonian hydra!

The Hydra is cool. Was hoping for something more like Protean Hydra though.

Haste, ProU and uncounterable for only G above its Power? Sounds pretty decent

The writer has balls to say a strict upgrade. I'm surprised this green card is not a mythic... this guy has haste! That is a hateful green card x_x. Well that is an kinda "meh" way to end the week. See you guys on Monday where they spoil everything.

That hydra is going to smash some faces.

So my plans to main Lifebane Zombie in U/B or Esper is looking more and more solid. Schweet.

Certainly sideboard play. Gets around the problem with any hydra like this and the tempo loss from bounce and counters. And it has haste, so even a Verdict isn't going to outright save the opponent from taking some huge damage.

I mean... damn. Skylasher and now this. They seem to love green, hate blue, and despise blue/black as a combination.

I wish so badly this Hydra had flash instead of haste.

Nonetheless, a scaling, hasty hydra like that is something to be scared of.

I love the anti-blueness of that hydra.

He said in terms of gameplay not power. I understand these are spoiler articles and people may not read them but at least read the full sentence

Is the hydra actually any good? The big problem I've always had with hydras isn't that they were vulnerable to countermagic, it's that they fundamentally are always behind curve. I understand the value of it being however much mana you have, but at every point the creature it makes is so awful I just don't see why you would ever play it.

Oh gosh, prepare to get blasted by everyone in the forums for using "strictly better."

The power creep and anti blue that WotC has been doing lately is just stupid.

That new green hero is gross...really flippin gross! ya it's tough to cast and it competes for the 5 slot but sheesh...doubling it's base power every time you target it with a spell is just sick...limited bomb potential...doubt it'll see constructed play.
