So far Bestow is pretty overpriced. But creature heavy decks are popular and a bunch of Bloodrush and Bestow creatures could be fun.
The 1 mana red heroic guy is cool.
Necessary for limited. Lampad actually seems like a reasonably high pick. 6 mana to pump your biggest dude and make it 80% unblockable, with no risk of card disadvantage and the ability to get a reasonable body at 4 mana instead?
I don't know what to make of the Crusader. Looks fun for casual Young Pyromancer decks, but I don't think it's playable.
I like the 1/1 red guy. Red has the ability to make lots and lots of 1/1 tokens. Now we just have to see if it has something worthwhile to do with all those tokens.

For the folks brewing up lists already with Dynacharge, note that overloaded spells no longer target. An overloaded Dynacharge (or overloaded anything else) will not produce a hasty Crusaderlette.
However, it works extremely well with Leap of Flame!
Well that's not very exciting. They could have well have spoiled the basic land arts. We know already of Bestow and Heroic so those commons are not breaking news. Is there more planned tonight?
There are always 'unplanned' spoilers during the magic party.
I know this is just me being a pervy old man and all, but if they give me enough nymphs in different colors I might have to try to put together some sort of nymph themed edh deck at some point in the future.

Here's to hoping they "accidentally" spoil the other 4 major gods.

There's quite a few green and or white auras and spells that work okay with it I mean you have a young pyro and ogre battledriver any instant/sorcery you cast on Crusader gives you 2 3/1 haste tokens
So how does Martial Glory work with 2 Heroics on the field and each instance targets a different one, do both abilites work like if its Akroan and Anax and Cymede?

One spell, two targets, two Heroic triggers to stack the right way to get powered up hasty beats.
In the same way you can tell someone is from the XVIII century because he is arroused by ankles, you can tell someone is from USA because he feels nipples disturbing.
Both Bestows so far have been priced as 'slightly under costed Enchantment' + 'slightly over/par costed Creature'.
'2/2 w/ Intimidate' for 4 + 'Enchanted Creature has +2/+2 & Intimidate' for 2
'4/4 w/ Flying & First strike for 5' + 'Enchanted Creature has +4/+4, Flying and First Strike' for 3
I really hope they have fun with this design space and make one that the Bestow cost is cheaper than just casting the creature. A 5 cost creature that Bestows for 3 perhaps? Basically a reverse Nantuko Shaman
Either way, Bestow will be amazing in Limited! You can go all in on one creature and when it gets killed you get dudes? Yes please!
I just think bestow seems really cool. I'm just a little disappointed that, if future bestow cards follow the model of the two already spoiled, it's just improbably costed for anything outside of casual or multiplayer play. I was hoping to get some mileage out of it.
Agreed.
It just doesn't fit my Limited deckbuilding style. I understand that there's a place for preposterously-costed value plays, but I'm a tempo junkie.
I think when you say "Timmy" you mean Limited. Like you referenced with Scavenge, that was a mechanic for sealed/draft. This mechanic may serve the same purpose and that's fine.

Well if it had a lower bestow cost it'd need some kind of downside when it returns to a creature or something...but it'd be very fun nonetheless
Frankly I'm deathly afraid of this Lampad card, intimidate shouldn't be underrated and it'll probably win you the game alone if you bestow it. Overcosted for constructed is a definite but this mechanic should probably be nowhere near constructed level at common.
Hoping there is some pushed Bestow cards. Would like to see a Flying Men variant and an aggressively costed Goblin War Paint. However, I hope they don't just rehash a bunch of auras we're used to seeing.

I was thinking more along the lines of a 2/2 for 5, bestow for 3, if it enters not from your hand do things... Like 'draw a card' or 'get's two +1/+1 counters'.
I don't know why anyone thinks Bestow is a "Timmy" mechanic. Like essentially all split card mechanics, it presents the player with a resource utilization puzzle that appeals primarily to Spikes. "Too expensive to see play in competitive constructed" does not automatically mean a card was designed for Timmy. Bloodrush, for instance, is the Spike-iest mechanic we've seen in a long time despite really only producing one constructed card. Bestow presents a very similar tension... "Do I play this now, or wait until I can cast it for full value? I can do multiple things with this card... what's the best for my current situation?"
The most Timmy-centric mechanic we've seen so far is probably Devotion, because it encourages the player to imagine incredible best-case scenarios, and how much fun it will be when the card works that way. "I could get, like, 10 Harpy tokens when I cast this creature! Thassa could a 5/5 unblockable, indestructible creature for 3 mana! So cool!"
Heroic triggers on spell cast, not on being targeted. Being targeted is just a condition that must be met, it is not the trigger event.
You only cast Martial Glory once, therefore you only get one token.
They were talking about targeting two different Heroic creatures with Martial Glory to get both effects. Each would trigger in that case. You're correct that you can't get 2 tokens out of one guy with Martial Glory, but, as the post you quoted was saying, you can stack triggers such that you get a token, then your team including the token gets pumped by Anax and Cymede.
