Well, they gave us lousy spoilers for the first day.
I kind of have to agree. I really try not to judge sets so early, but I'm getting worried. Usually all of the cards that really get me excited are spoiled up front, but so far, there's only two or three cards in this set that have gotten me moderately excited.
I really love the idea of a Greek Mythology set, but so far Theros just isn't doing it for me. The Gods are definitely...something, but they're not really giving me the "MUST HAVE NOW" vibe. And we're getting a lot of limited filler/junk stuff up front, too.
May want to recount. If the Hundred-Handed One is monstorous, you can block 100 creatures with it. Also love the flavor on that card.

For what it's worth, the opposite of evergreen is "deciduous" so I suggest we start using that from now on to refer to shroud, banding, islandhome, etc.

I actually laughed so loudly it hurt when I read Hundred-Handed One. So much troll.
Yep I was in tears. Its so easy to take the game too seriously, but this makes you take a step back and laugh. Overall the spoilers tonight were ok (heliod seems decent).
EDH is like French fries: some people like waffle cut, crinkle cut, or plain old straight cut, and while there's slight flavor difference and personal preference, at the end of the day they're still fries.
When I saw the Hundred Handed One, I giggled and thought it was Wizards trolling us. Then I remembered it's actually pretty balanced and giggled some more.

Yeah, weak batch of preview cards IMO. Also, the forced flavor on hundred handed one kinda makes me laugh in a "trying too hard" sorta way.
