She's probably the worst mono-B EDH general. Even Volrath, Crovax and Shauku seem stronger. Other than a control+control two headed giant or a multiplayer table with utter noobs, you won't survive to ever play her hability and as the beatstick of a control build Skittles is much better.

Yes sir, I take fantasy art and character design commissions, PM me for rates.
This is bad even for EDH, a meh creature even with a stapled on board wipe(that is very expensive) that doesn't hit a limited tribe(not that many Gorgons, especially good ones) is awful. Being mythic is like a punch in the gut.
When do midrange decks have the investment to spend 6 mana, then 8? Midrange should win by turn 8. This wants to be a control finisher so badly, but its so terrible it has no chance. WotC has printed bad mythics(Cpt. Obvious) but they've felt like mythics. They were big and impressive. This would have been a "I guess its pretty good" rare but it is uninspired and underwhelming and just not FLAVORFUL enough. Sigh.

What you are about to read the absolute truth about the deck that once nearly killed WotC's revenue.

I like the card (a lot) but the art isn't doing it for me...Perhaps if it was closer in, I feel like this is a concept art. I like my legends to be up close and personal.
OOPS it's a mythic. Thought it was a rare. This is a terrible mythic and WOTC should feel terrible. This is a RARE. Could have done so much with a mythic gorgon...This feels like Innistrad. You Hit (Heliod, Elspeth, Xenagos) or you miss (this MYTHIC). Gg Theros.
I disagree.
she is a scary and awesome gorgon that destroys ALL of you opponents creatures, that effect for that mana cost seems perfectly fine at mythic, besides if you do want her card then you will be less likely to get it anyway.

In Limited: Crazy good big boot bomb
In Standard: A tool for Mid range/control that i think will see play...
Sir.
I m not saying that she will see play in MidRange what i m saying is that I THINK she will see play ( That is a reasonable thought cause I don't know how the RTR-M14-THS Standard will really look like...)

At first glance, one might think she'd be good in a gorgon tribal deck with Reaper of the Wild, but I don't know if she has the resilience for it. She's a sitting duck for a while before you can hit her monstrosity.
I think she's too overcosted to see much play.

i have to agree with broodwarjc. i dont see why they keep printing these garbage mythics. How hard would it have been to make this card cost UU and counter target spell. God, why does wizards have this repugnant delusion with false pretenses of multiple formats and flavor.

I fear I won't have much time to play Magic these days.
I get to watch worlds develop around me.
I get to watch great leaders, terrible oppressors, and trend setters rise and fall.
Limited, Standard, Modern, everything is a different playing field I feel I can observe, but will not actually touch.
I look forward to the stories I will hear.
And more so to the ones I will watch unfold first hand.
Isn't the unknown exciting?

make them all equal so that when i buy a box i don't run the risk of getting print run x that is worthless, while my buddy gets print run y that is all the money.

Maybe it's just me, but playing the lottery expecting to win every time isn't a good idea.
What a waste of a mythic slot. I am hating how slow this set is turning out to be, monstrosity suuuuucks. Fo not like this card st all, dollar myyhic easily.
I prefer bad mythic cards rather than bad rares... you're less likely to open a mythic than a rare this means if I opened a booster I have more possibilities to open a Thoughtseize over this.

Or at least make her 5 CMC with a 7 CMC Monstrosity. Who knows, maybe they're going to print a lot of good Gorgon creatures or something.
I disagree.

would you rather have more Voice of Resurgence type mythics? I sure don't.

I dunno... it's not bad, but it's uncannily similar to his art for Glissa, the Traitor.
