Attached here. Seems playable to me. Tough to get rid of with his optional hexproof and Scry 3 is amazing. It's no Constipated Sphinx, but it might top the curve in blue builds.
Dat beard screams "YOU SHA'LL NOT PASS!". Card seems fine, not fond of discard for hexproofing, but for scrying for 3 it might warrant the heavy hexproof costing.
I love it. But if they expect blue to discard then they should provide some card draw. So I guess that's coming next Monday when everything is revealed.
Oh my word. I really like this card a whle lot. I hope i pull one at the pre-release.

Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
Haste RU Draw 2 Cards, this creature deals 2 damage to each other creature you control. RW Choose Two - Target Creature gains First Strike, Lifelink, or Haste until end of turn. UW Choose One - Return Target Creature to the top of it's Owner's deck, or Creatures your Opponent controls can't attack this turn. This creature doesn't untap during your next untap step.

Based on the wording, does this mean that if it's already attacked you can still give it hexproof? If so then this card is pretty good. If not it's sadly mediocre. Scry 3 is a pretty scary number so I look forward to ripping this baby pack 1.

Yep. If you have already declared attackers, and your opponent hasn't responded, then you can tap it. Or, in this case, leave it already tapped.
Awesome freaking art! ABout time we got something that doesn't look like everything else. This art looks like a Magic card, ah, how nice!:)

This is awesome. Being a 3/5 is perfect because it makes it dodge Warleader's Helix and Mizzium Mortars without even needing to discard a card to protect it, meaning you will only need to protect it from true removal like Doom Blade. Should be specially juicy in a UR(w?) shell with Chandra's Phoenix, which is amazing synergy with this Merlin Sphinx here.

YES that's all I needed to hear, now the only question is, how many people are manly enough to run this and aetherling together in beautiful monobluedom?

Thank god it wasn't printed when Flashback was a standard thing. Now discarding is an actual cost and not a deck tool.

I LIKE DRAGONS!
Protects itself from removal? Check
Provides a constant stream of answers after you play it? Check
In other words, a perfect control finisher card.
Now let's wait for the naysayers who will call it crap cuz its not 8/8 with haste, vigilance and scry 10
I seriously like this card. It is definitely playable in todays standard
