Is it really possible to have information about something so far in the future at this time? Or is this a way of saying that Thoughtseize is in Theros?
Born of the Gods and Nyx are already being insterted into packs and finishing up on their primary print runs. M15 is likely being approved for print with small tweaks and fixes before running. The Next Block is in the final stages of development and playtesting.
Yes. WOTC works so far in advance of the release of sets because they cannot even come close to producing enough product for the game on demand.
There's simply no way that rare, tournament worthy dual lands are going to come into play tapped no matter what in this era. There's got to be some kind of trigger so that they can come in untapped, otherwise they're just elaborate guildgates.
This.
I don't think they're interested in slowing the game down THAT much.

because the worldwake dual manlands are horrible right?
Man lands are the exception which proves the rule. For lands which always ETBT to be good, they have to do something really powerful, like become a big creature.

Point is it can be done. We don't know what the lands do. They could be powerful enough.
If real, that Sphinx is bonkers. If you can get through with an attack, you set up an extra turn, huge Sphinx's Rev at EOT, untap with a fistful of cards. Definitely sees play in various UW/UWx control builds, as long as it doesn't have some silly toughness like 2 or something.
I knew Theros couldn't be ALL bad cards
Cause all of Theros is a whole 14 cards? You're card evaluation skills are proven to be pretty bad anyway (insert Liliana sig here) but seriously you're just asking for people to call you a **** when you call a whole set bad off 14 cards. Please don't try and evaluate new cards.
Yeah scry tap dual lands would be awesome, make the game a bit slower, smooth out draws for any deck. Make them swamp forest etc and even eternal formats might use them. For the better? Less random more fun? I think 2 is the magic number. At 3 you might want to run 16 duals in a mono color deck lol.
I really do hope the lands we see have scry, and I also hope we get them at uncommon. Scry is a great mechanic with which to power down the fixing while improving consistency and lessening mana screw.
Soo what if it was your opponent, who could rearrange the cards? I mean something like:
Tap to add U or W
When this ETB your opponent may Scry 1 (or 2)
or
When this ETB your opponent may Fateseal 1 (or 2)
No one would play them.
I think people are really thinking to hard about this. If these are scrying lands, a "fair" dual will be unfetchable, ETBT and scry 2. Nothing to write home about. If they are that power level I sure hope they are uncommon.

Scry 2 is too much. Scry 1 is arguably better than Halimar Depths, which saw significant play, and HD didn't even act as a dual.
No, TC said it'is in the block, TK that's not in the middle one.
Maybe TK meant to say NOT in Theros. But, yeah its confusing to say the least.
He said "I don't know if anywhere besides Lorwyn, I know not in Born of The Gods"

My wife was on MTV with this video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUutIZg2EpU
We have mention of a Nimbus Maze cycle, Horizon Canopy-esque cycle and Halimar Depths cycle.
Is there more than 1 cycle? Or are some of the abilities from each card mashed into 1 cycle?
This.

Man lands

Let's try:
Complicated UW Land
Land
t: Add 1 to your mana pool.
t: Add W to your mana pool. If you control no Island ~ deals 1 damage to you.
t: Add U to your mana pool. If you control no Plains ~ deals 1 damage to you.
1, t, Sacrifice ~: Scry 1.
Man lands are the exception which proves the rule. For lands which always ETBT to be good, they have to do something really powerful, like become a big creature.
Practice for Khans of Tarkir Limited:
Draft: (#1) (#2) (#3) (#4) (#5)
Point is it can be done. We don't know what the lands do. They could be powerful enough.

Gotta tack on an ability to become a manland, and tap to draw a card if you have 7 in hand already.

Reality is only what man allows it to be. Few shape it so that many may accept it.
If you delete the first line, it seems fine. Otherwise they are way to powerful and are just strictly better than the pain lands
would be playable?
Cubetutor Peasant'ish-Funbox
Project: Khans of Tarkir Cube (cubetutor)
X=1: playable
X=2: good
X=3: bomb
Yep, strictly better than anything, the only drawback being they can't be fetched

Troll: TS in the block
TK: TS not in Born of The Gods
If both are right: TS is in Theros or Jurney Into Nyx
If Troll is wrong: no TS in Theros block
I'm in the same boat, I bought 4 of them like a week ago :>
