Gotta say, I'm pretty confused as to why the card is so blurry in that picture, considering everything else around it is actually is really good focus; The push-pin is sharp, even the visible board that the poster is mounted on is pretty clear (you can see the board grain or whatever), yet the card itself is super blurry. Was it printed blurry on the poster, on purpose?
OP said it's blurry because it's zoomed in - but zoomed in from what? Certainly not the larger photo of the entire poster.
Also is there precedent of cards being spoiled on event posters before this?
It makes sense though -- the Gods are Enchantments and 'godly things' are enchantments too. So, logically, godly artifacts are enchantment artifacts.
That's the flavor for Theros.
This. The types are not arbitrarily combined for no reason. They're combined because this is a heavily enchantment themed block and there is very good flavor reason for it to be that way.
Can't believe so many people are complaining because this set has both interesting flavor, but flavor that is well reflected in interesting new card mechanics.
I understand that people like to complain, but why not complain about something worth complaining about?
Honestly I thought that these weapons would be pretty powerful not quite on the same level of the swords (since these are most likely rare, and the swords are mythics) but very close to them, they are weapons of the gods after all. I really can't believe this isn't even an equipment.

Mayor of Avabruck was spoiled on a poster. But it's foiled and in clear focus. That was nearly 2 years ago, so blurriness like on this spoiler is a bit unexcuseable, since average cameras have advanced a lot. Also, here is the spoiler thread with additional images.

I don't care what they call them, they can call them legendary artifact enchantment equipment auras for all I care. Just as long as a creature can pick it up and use it.
Dakella is a weapon, this card is just an artifact and enchantment mashed together, which is fine, but isn't anything like a weapon of the gods.
If this is real it is the worst flavor I have ever seen, which makes me think it's not real, because wizards has really been doing well in the flavor department lately imo.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring

That is different. This is on an fnm poster which has no mention of theros. (that we can see) It does say "gifts from the gods" on it, but that's it.
The poster you posted is clearly promoting innistrad, this one is promoting experiment one as being the september fnm promo.

The question was if they put spoilers on event posters. They do. Sure, this spoiler isn't directly related to the event. But it's still the same concept.

Based on scale in the art, it's a weapon taller than a mountain and as wide as a building.
It's not a weapon, it's a weapon-shaped symbol. Think of the iron rod that featured heavily in the Chinese classic, Journey to the West.
So it changes size to match whomever wields it? I can see that. Makes sense, it being magical and from Nyx. Still, flavorfully, this doesn't give the impression of controlling the sea.

There is a huge difference between having a spoiler on an fnm poster and a poster for the prerelease of the block that the card is in.
I think that we need other members with access to one of the fnm posters to post a picture of it.

Lets look at what wizards said when they talked about this weapon.
Legend has it that a mortal sailor once stole Dekella and used it to destroy an enemy fleet, and that Thassa punished the mortal by turning his entire family into eels.
So there is a way that mortals can use it. Sure it's obviously huge as seen on the image of thassa, but wizards said that a mortal stole it and used it. I really doubt they would put that unnecesary story in there if they did not intend for creatures to be able to use it.

Those posters come with the FNM kits and include the promo cards. If someone has the poster, the same store has the card and can scan it. We haven't received them yet ourselves so I can't confirm the card.

"A card is considered functionally identical to another card if it has the same card type, subtypes, abilities, mana cost, power, and toughness." - Wizards of the Coast Official Reprint Policy
Ooh, this means there'll be another red artifact for Bosh. If enchantment blocks somehow wind up creating more colored artifacts, we should really push for more of them. Return to Theros!
That's kind of my point though. I totally agree that breaking conventions is what keeps Magic fresh: but most of it comes from utilising current design space. Inventing a new subtype uses design space for very little reason. Stuff like Planeswalkers or even the Level Up frame exist because there's nothing in the game that would support them while being neat. However, really good ideas eventually find their way to being made (DFCs and planeswalkers are the two great examples): usually, this meant expanding the borders of the game.
With everyone's complaints on how this could have just been made with a new subtype, Divine/God/etc., it defeats the point. Part of Magic is to explore the space that's already available to us design-wise; I'd consider this different to inventing new design space.
I guarantee that Theros does in fact utilize old design space, but Theros is an enchantment block that plays with the concept of enchantments. If you understand why R&D bucks convention then you should see why they are making equipment enchantments and creature enchantments. As for there being no reason to use this design space, I just flat out disagree with you.
We're looking for something that was done on only ONE future sight card. Tap enchantments were 3 cards.
Future shifted mechanics CANNOT count as returning (unless they say YOLO), so we're looking for Lucent Luminid or Daybreak Coronet, since they're the big enchantment culprits.
In the same way you can tell someone is from the XVIII century because he is arroused by ankles, you can tell someone is from USA because he feels nipples disturbing.

So at first people posted "they've never put the promo on a poster" and now people are posting "the last time they did this it was easier to see!".
Images are blurry sometimes, it doesn't have anything to do with the card being real or not. The original zoomed out image doesn't look doctored, I don't see anyone arguing that.
If this is the only argument people have for it being fake...its a huge reach.

It could also allow for some EPIC casting costs for the Gods
But that would mean that it would be the returning mechanic; I thought that they had said that the returning mechanic was one that didn't work out and was reworked
I guess you could argue that affinity for artifacts didn't work out (it was well liked though from what I gather, I was on my extended MtG break back then) but I had the impression that they were implying it was going to be something that wasn't popular
