At this point I think everything about this set drives my hype-o-meter up. Even if its just the name of the buy a box promo. October sure can't come fast enough.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
Maybe it won't be a creature, but instead a G colored artifact that has an effect on enchantments? With say, the power to active an enchantment's effect twice or something.
In the same way you can tell someone is from the XVIII century because he is arroused by ankles, you can tell someone is from USA because he feels nipples disturbing.
This would be a great way to rebrand Birds of Paradise, as an above poster pointed out.
However, with a name like Sylvan Caryatid it seems more green-aligned.
Possibly a defender who fetches a land when it ETB?
Does seem like it may be enchantment-related, too, with 50% of the history of Magic's caryatids being enchantment related. Maybe it's the opposite, though -- a defender that comes to life on any turn when you cast an enchantment?
Keep in mind that it wasn't the Caryatid in Opal Caryatid that made it an enchantment, it was the Opal. But Caryatids do fit the theme of "sleeper enchantments," so we'll have to see what it is.
I was going to say that Buy-A-Box promos usually represent the set in some way, like Gravecrawler did for DKA (graveyard theme, tribal theme, bad guys winning the war) until I realized that BaB promos are historically more like 50/50 relevant to set flavor vs random. It would certainly make sense that this card follows the tradition of Opal Caryatid considering there's an enchantment theme in Theros but it's far from a sure thing. At least we can all agree it seems very G.
Here is the card

Can you give the full spoiler?( of the card.if you have a pic pleasse post it) kkk
My 'condition' is a trial. The weak are consumed by it. The strong transcend it.
Well last time it was easy cause it was ratchet bomb, however I don't have the picture just the name so we all have to speculate and wait.

You are correct re Opal Caryatid. However, the most recent one in Magic was the efficient defender Carven Caryatid.

They probably want it to be a Dryad instead of a Spirit.
This is pretty much exactly what I came in here to post.

My guess? Green (possibly G/W) creature, or even enchantment creature.
same here, maybe sleepers are the returning mechanic that needed retweeking, or maybe even just the returning mechanic.
However, with a name like Sylvan Caryatid it seems more green-aligned.
Possibly a defender who fetches a land when it ETB?
