If this type of thing ever happens again, make an account on the site and put in all your information first, then just proceed to checkout when the item appears.
It had all my information. Everything was all good.
I kept on getting an error when the page came up.
I logged out, restarted the site, and logged back in. Was finally able to get to the checkout, and when I clicked the final button, "Please remove it from your cart. It's sold out."
Mannnn ive been checking in on these constantly since yesterday and i had to do some actual work at work for 20 minutes and they are gone. dont suppose there is any hope of a restock? Maybe they decided to stagger the release of them online? If only. Mannnn if only today had been my day off instead of yesterday.
Same here. Was logged in, item in cart. Every time I hit proceed to checkout it took me back to my cart. Checked and they were still in stock. Website just messed up, great!
All indications point to less than 100 were up for grabs...
Any validity to that number?
If so, that won't impact the price worth a damn.
It must have been more than 100, there's over 60 confirmed orders in the rumor mill thread. They were up for about 7.5 minutes. I don't think there's any way to know for sure just how many sold, but it couldn't have been many.
Welp. That's what happens when I finally decide to take a break from refreshing.
I'm sure I'll eventually get to pick up pieces of this. Maybe some of us will get lucky and snag a FTV 20 at msrp and swap it for the promo walker set.
Crazy. As much as I wanted these, at least seeing the sold out sign puts closure on this for me and I can go back to enjoying Magic normally.
The rep I just talked to from Hasbro said they will enforce the one per household and all extra orders will be canceled, restocked and sold. I'd expect those who got a few threw to be aware of this or maybe get lucky and slip through the cracks

Can you link me to where it says there is a one per household limit?
The link does not say anything about the cart limit or the per household limit being one.
For reference:
All items available for purchase on HasbroToyShop.com have strict cart limits. These limits are per person and per household. Placing multiple orders in an attempt to obtain higher than the allotted quantity will not be permitted. All orders exceeding the designated limit will be canceled. Hasbro reserves the right to change the limits at any time and cancel orders at its sole discretion.
The Rep on the phone said one too. Guess time will tell, I put in a few orders so I guess we'll find out if they go through or get cancelled. But you are right, the site doesn't say anything about the one per.
I guess there's little chance of this and it's been discussed a bit, but what's the chance that they'll reprint these promos?
Reprint, 0.000000000000001% chance of that happening. The chance of more of these becoming available as they find random stock or cancelled orders are put back up, 1% chance.
The Hasbro rep confirmed with me as well that orders in excess of the one per household limit would be cancelled and eventually restocked on the website. He confirmed that the website would be restocked but did not say how many would be restocked or even a ball-park figure of when.
Hmm.. let me rephrase my question then. What's the chance that Hasbro will run a similar promotion next year or start pumping out these ultra-exclusive promos?

I"m guessing it depends on how they view our(the magic playing community) response to the promo. If they think it went over well I think there is a good chance of another similar product in the future(similar in exclusive promotional item not necessarily black on black again).

I go to the doctors office this afternoon, come back home, and *bam*, gone. Guess it just wasn't meant to be for me.

You mean reprint a product that was specifically designed for an event that ended a few days ago?
Wouldn't really be much of an exclusive if they reprinted right?
Legacy: Death and Taxes, U/B Reanimator
