hey neat! Reassembling Skeleton is sort of back. I LOVE this guy in control builds (though this ability just kinda seems like glorified regeneration).
The other two are pretty boring... that land is just maddeningly terribad. Is Tectonic Edge really THAT broken? At least we still have ghost quarter for a while...
In addition to today's cards, we also get this little titbit from Sam Stoddard's article:
That's right, for the first time since Fourth Edition, there will not be a cycle of mana-fixing lands in the core set.
They finally mentioned that...
...and confirmed dual lands in Theros:
I will let you in on a secret—there will be a cycle of dual lands in Theros block. I can't tell you anything else about them yet, but I am very excited about them.
Many thanks to ChibiSwan of The Ugly Swan for the great banner!

It mostly consists of a napalm filled trench around my house and a stack of 1994 pornography in my basement.

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.
Tectonic edge was far from perfect. It was a really bad wasteland variant yet it was still run as a 4 of in so many decks. This new one is decentish, but whatever. Adding 4 to the activation cost of wasteland probably balances it well enough for their tastes.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
well they did say that there was going to be some magical lands in theros... which was kinda obvious given that m14 has no dual lands... and i was very disappointed by the spoilers today
Just give us back Tectonic Edge.

A sweet one, but for casual only... or is it?!
Tectonic Edge was perfect...but WotC still felt it was too powerful.

I really like Voracious Wurm.
For 1G, it can often be a 3/3 or bigger.
After a Lightning Helix, etc., it can be much bigger than a 2/2.
Many thanks to ChibiSwan of The Ugly Swan for the great banner!
Yes, I'd be okay with neither of those cards ever being reprinted again.

When it escaped, the experimenters hesitated. It would cause untold havoc, yet they wished to see it in action.
It would be kinda silly with Snapcaster Mage anyway... (not that I'm not hoping for Condemn still at #14, which would be just as bad.)
The Green wurm in the gallery has a little potential - not great, but decent.
